I think this time is the best to get wedding bands/proposal ring because of GSS! Initial budget was 8k because that's like 1.5x of my HTB salary, but then, i dont think its pointless to spend so much. Unless you're getting like a BRANDED ring.

Anyway, we were looking through rings previously (>1yr back) and we saw this 0.8 diamond ring going for like 3.5k, with it's original price at around 7k! It was a good cut, good clarity and whatever you need to know about diamonds (cant remember all) But we didnt get it, cos it look too big for my finger.

So yea, i think GSS is a good period :P

Hi dear, I suggest Love & Co. as their designs are so pretty and super elegant! I have been to the shop in Vivocity which looked pretty awesome and I went to browse through their selections and they really are lovely that it melts my heart (to be really honest). Another option is SK Jewellery at City Link, they have got the latest designs where most of their branches do not carry. The prices are really affordable and reasonable. Especially it is GSS now, grab your best offer there and I must be truly honest, they have great sales service. Their staffs like James & John delivers extremely good service to you. I am very happy to be one of their satisfied customers. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Must Wedding bands be so expensive? It really cost a lot . As long as the ring fit comfortably and lasting to one and partner. It should be the perfect ring then.
what about those wedding rings from Taka , Goldheart so so on . costing less than $500. WIll one partner feel that he is not sincere at all? Most expensive means most sincere then what should those lowly paid employee do ? Spend 100% on ring. ..... Pls enlighten all......

I don't think the more costly the rings are the more sincere you are.
it should be something both of you loves it and are comfortable with wearing it everyday.
Expensive rings doesn't means they are nice and comfortable to some people. I felt that we are just paying for the "brand".
Normal range rings do have loads of unique, nice and comfort ones too! Different outlets will have different designs too... Just keep looking. =)

Nope, i don't think it is advisable to spend 100% on ring. Then how about others? Banquet? House? Family?

Wedding rings are meant to be wear everyday, if you spend a bomb on it and ended up having loads of scratches etc, you will feel more heartpain after that.

the price is very reasonable and like i said before, international shipping is free. I would recommend for you to look around at a few places. Online and in stores and compare prices before you buy.
