Hmm.. how about making a trip to the beach, to collect some sea shells? that's a must.. with sand, coconuts and coconut leaves general color could be blue+brown (e.g. sea blue table cloth), to bring out the theme of sea...

You can save some hassle by engaging some event planner. I think they are able to decorate the sea beautifully.

you can have it made by a contractor or better yet if the decorations are not too complicated, you can do them yourself.

why don't you try asking for some designer's help. i think they can be really of help when it comes to looking for designs in the theme that you said.
