It all depends on whether it suits you anot. But i did inform my coordinator that i would only want only exclusive gowns. But during my first fitting i tried only exclusive gown but could not find anything i like. 2nd time i went, i tried both designer and exclusive. 3rd time is the charm. I found all my gowns and ALL of them are exclusive. I am very happy with it.

Another major factor would be the coordinator. My coordinator is Frida and she is really really nice. She was very patient with me though cause i have been for gown trying 3 times and she would take out all the different clothes to let me try which i really appreciated it.

But i feel that their exlcusive evening gown is much more limited, maybe the reason being is because i am on the plump side, so not all the gowns i am able to wear. But she will try and get the gowns that would fit me. As you know all the gowns are heavy and if the coordinator brings out gowns that will not fit you, you are wasting your time trying.

But regardless just try whatever gowns they bring cause what you like might not be good for you. The coordinator who have more experience in choose wedding gowns will know what is good for you.

But my wedding is in october and i started trying my gowns end of dec. I wanted to wait for their new range previously but in the end, i decided not. Reason being is once you find a gown that suits you, it doesnt matter whether is it old or new range. Cause you will only like that "gown".

I went for my 2nd appointment and 1st gown fitting at Whitelink 3 days ago. My experience was very good and fruitful. The fitting was for my Krabi photoshoot in May. For overseas trip we are only entitle to choose from off the rack. You can choose to pay more to get better design but I seriously do not think there’s a need as off the rack to me is more than enough. So I hope exclusive range is enough for me too for actual day gown selection. *finger crossed*
I took 5.5 hours to decide on 3 sets of gown (white gown, evening gown and short dress) and my husband suit/pants. I really didn’t expect it to last for so long. At the end of it I was so tired and just wanted to quickly decide and go back. My leg was aching as I was standing with heels almost the whole process, going in and coming out of the fitting room.
My coordinator Vennice is super patient and nice. You can tell she really put in effort to search for the gown that you like. I started by showing her a few photo on the gown that I like then she will searched for similar design base on the photo . She will also bring out gown that she thinks will suit me for me to try on. There were a few gowns that I don’t want to try because i’m lazy not that her taste was bad but she will be very nice to say just give it a try to have a feel of it. I think she’s super professional and always with a smile..
The only regret was I wanted Guorong as my photographer but he was taken. I mentioned to Vennice before that i wanted him but she didn’t reserve for me. Vincent was the next photographer that was recommended in forum but he was on leave. The remaining are Alex Chai, Alex Heng and Shervin, so anyone has any recommendations?
Overall my experience with them was pretty good. I was so scare when i read so much bad reviews but i think it all depends on individual as well.. Have fun to all whitelink BTB, i will post more updates after i come back from Krabi..

I think most of Whitelink bride their AD gown is the same as album... From what I know from coordinator is that u need to pay additional for alteration....

I spend 3 appointments finding my gowns, each appointment is 2pm to 5:30pm....You can tell them to KIV your gowns actually and then try on other gowns....they allow you to KIV 3 sets. After you try all your gowns and you decided then you confirm. Actually no need to confirm so fast, unless your photoshoot date is near?

If you can't find anything you like, then try another visit, sometimes different days will be better. For example, during my first appointment, i had very high expectation and then end up i was so fustrated that i could not find anything that i like, and in the end whatever down i tried i was so upset so i came the other appointment.

Yes, once you confirm your gown you cannot change. Maybe if you really dont like your gown, check with your coordinatior and see how?

I had the same impression on Lynda when i had my trial. but knowing they dont use the same stuff on trial and photoshoot/actual day, i let it pass since afterall she showed me a few makeup tricks.

i just had my photoshoot and i am happy with her work. And I think she is nicer than those more mentioned MUAs here.

hi dolp21, i think they allow if you really got 2nd thoughts about it. i went back to reselect 2 dresses after pondering for few weeks and the cooridinator has been very nice to arrange for another selection. But my 2nd round of selection is a short session as I have a rough idea of what i want when i select

Unfortunately those the 1st look u will fall in love with the white gowns are from the designer range(for example,it can be like feather with small details and some crystals and hell no it's neither that heavy nor overwhelming) and the minimum top up for the designer range is $500 and max like a $1000++ if i remember correctly what my fitting coordinator told me.

Sigh~~the so called latest white gowns will be inside the wardrobe at the fitting room area(bride can browse and choose freely)while there are a lot more gowns at their store/back area and customers are not allow to go in there to choose the gowns(the fitting coordinator will try to understand what you are looking for and they go into the store for more white/evening gowns).Overall i find that their exclusive white gowns are too plain and nothing to wow about. However, their exclusive night gown and tea dress are passable.
