i'll be going down for another round of selection..luckily my AD is still months away..so i've plenty of time to select. Initially when i booked for first gown selection, the lady was telling me don't need so early..glad i did not take her advice..
if i really still can't find a gown i like, thn i think i will consider topping up...but i'm not really happy to top up though...since they were not honest at the start...yet if i don't, then i'll have to settle with a '2nd choice' gown..Haizz

Hey Cherissy, when is your wedding and when did you start to select your gowns? I heard my friend saying that for her (not at this bridal shop) but she also took 3 rounds before selecting the gown she likes. My wedding is in next year oct, when do you think i should suggest to whitelink to try my gowns?

Hi Wlilian, my gowns were from exclusive range. Coz I took the Macau package, so I was told that I can only select from exclusive range for outdoor shoot.

Unless u are confirming to select exclusive gowns only, otherwise, it might not be a good idea to go down too early.

You might want to check with whitelink when their new gowns will be launched. Then u decide roughly when u want go down.

Yah...i was planning to select their exclusive range/ OTR only...that why i was planning if i should go down earlier to have a feel of what their gowns are like. For me, i feel their designer gown is like too "blink" when i first sign the package that why i am okay to go for exclusive both evening and wedding gown. Does anybody know why do they actually update their gowns? do they only update their desiger range or all the different range?

hmm..I think they will update like 4 mth once? Then when the designer range is out they will push the "older" designer gown to exclusive. Or they if the designer gown has been worn too many times, they will push it to exclusive.

Really... they inform me that their exclusive range that have not too many crytals and ribbon, that is why it is under exclusive range.....just made a call to them...they say that i can come by next year jan to try gowns already...even though my wedding is in october....but i told them i would prefer to come during end of december as i clearing leave and they are also okay with it. At the moment, service wise seems to be on the good side...

It's make sense too that exculsive they use less crystal. I dun tink exclusive they willl use sawroski(dunno spelling) unless it has been quite long or worn too many times. just my 2 worth cent though.

Yah i guess soo....but for me, i prefer the gowns to be simple and not too shiny. Cos i am actually on the plump side...so if too shiny, makes me look more fat i think...

I think have to depend on the design. Different ppl suit different gown. But nevertheless, as long as u like and feel comfotable in it can already..no need to care how ppl say nice or not =)
Wish u find the right gown soon!

    Hi Cherissy,

I'll be going down for my gown selection this coming weekend. got same experience as u. My photoshoot is coming soon and yet they asked me to choose the gown only 2 days prior to my PS, saying don't need to choose so early. Think we need to be more proactive and don't always take their advice.
