Sourcing for Banquet in Year 2014

Hello...
Im 1st Jan 2014 BTB... had a difficult time trying to find banquet as currenly most of the hotels dont open 2014 booking or pricing.
What KPI suggested are very handy... with that you are able to narrow the places to search for. You can ask for 2013 pricing to help you to decide. From what I know the pricing for 2014 will be out in Nov 2012.
Do note that you need to weigh cost vs location vs design of the ballroom
I just booked mine at grand park city hall. however i paid a subcharge of each table in order to secure the date.

I have just confirm my AD (14Feb2014) with Holiday Inn Atrium.
And i also got a few quotation from a few hotels for 2014 banquet. Even though they tell you price not out, but if really interested can talk to them de, they can offered you a price for sure. Most of them will do a slight increase from 2013 price.
I book very early becox i think my AD date is going to be very hot.... Hehe... Kiasu abit =)
I got the following hotel quotation:
1. Amara
2. Cop. King
3. Grand Park City Hall
4. Miramar
5. Novotel (Dragon Phoenix)
6. Orchard Parade
If you want I can forward it to you.

Hi if your wedding date is after Apr 2013 the price hike will be enforce regardless if you book before Apr 2013 for most 5 star hotel.

I'm a March 2014 bride. You can narrow down firstly on budget and number of people. Some hotels can charge up to $1500 per table while some is only $700-$800. Is location an issue as well? Must it be well known place? U can check with hotel prices in 2013 cos I noe the prices go up only by a $100-$200 max.. Usually the price for 2014 would be out in a few months time..
I'm also looking at mar 2014 btb. Have u book ur wedding banquet?

I have not booked yet. Still looking around Also were not going for the traditional hotel that's why. My family and his are more of the 'modern' kind so we want to do something different. We plan to hold it outdoor, which can be cheaper actually. The prices for 2014 for hotel should be out by November this year. How many number of guests u looking at?
