Ang Bao given is too little, how?

I attended my colleague's wedding at Conrad, and i gave 138 as her wedding ang bao, only to discover later that it was a shortfall for her package!!

What should i do?

dont worry i believe many people also like that. in fact many only give about $100 for wedding ang bao. that's why for couples going to have banquet, it's important to educate their guests on the ang bao market rates. otherwise sure very hard to cover.

I don't think it really matters. what's done has been done. And honestly speaking, 138 isn't that small an amount (i've seen/heard of amounts <$50 for 5 star hotels!!). Furthermore, if your friendship is affected by the angbao amount she received, then it isn't that great a friendship...

Dont worry, $138 is fine, wedding couple shouldn't expect to 'earn money' from wedding banquet.
