Beware of JTP Productions

Hi all,

Just thought of sharing this unhappy encounter with JTP Productions / Jimmy Tan http://www.j-tanphotography.com.

I guess some of you might have seen his Groupon deal in March 2014. I bought the deal of videography and hope to capture the lasting moment of my proposal. Got in contact with Jimmy Tan that time, he got my voucher and claimed the money from Groupon. I've given him the date/time/location of my planned proposal and he marked in his calendar. But when the date is near, I asked him multiple times when he can meet me for a short discussion of my plan and offered to place "hidden" cam using my own resource. We FINALLY scheduled a date on 28 May but one day before that, I asked him if he can meet at 8pm, which he duly ignored. When I confronted him of his professionalism, he threatened to refund me the money and do not want to shoot for me. So now, I'm left stranded and decided to cancel all my arrangements and change to an overseas proposal without any videography, all thanks to this unprofessional, rude and arrogant fellow.

Just hope you guys consider carefully if you want to get this guy to capture your utmost important day of your life.

ME TOO!! very very bad service!!

We have booked his video filming date more than 3 month in advance. We had a mutual agreement to make the purchase offline, which I regretted giving him the extra income consideration.

My pre-video discussion was being last min cancelled THREE times. He make empty promises on having the draft video concept email to us despite multiple chaser via phonecalls & sms with no SINGLE response at all. He couldn't even be bothered to call us back, only to inform us via sms 3days before the filming date that he has many back logged jobs & would be cancelling our coming Sunday shoot. 3 days!! ◡ ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ ┻━┻ *so freaking boiling mad*

All the pooling effort to conceptualize the story with my friends, all the effort in sourcing the props and the coming Sunday leave that my friend took have all gone down the drain for nothing!! All down for his "un-professionalism".

All BTB out there should boycott such black sheeps...

the problem with groupon deals is when u don't set a limit for the coupon sale, end up u will hav a hard time fulfilling e mentioned services. tats why I nv once purchase a groupon deal, especially for something impt.

ya! I also heard bad review on them! I was sister at my gf wedding and he was there. his name is jimmy and he was doing video fr the wedding. the actual day highlights was not nice and gf quite disappointed bt she thot cos in a rush so no choice accept lor even thou got abt 5hrs between morning and dinner. and when he gave the final highlight to my gf, its the same one, no fine tuning, gf then tried to contact him to see if he ccould do any minor edits but he totally nv answer phone/emails/calls. totally MIA. haiz.. gone case....
