First Dish Presentation Song

Recently I read about copyright issues with songs played during the banquet. My hotel manager mentioned that if I have the original cd or proof of purchase, then there will be no problem.

However, the song we decided on doesn't have a iTunes/Amazon mp3 version or even a physical album as it has long stop production.

Any kind soul can advice on this matter? The hotel manager isn't that friendly when we asked her =(

Maybe you can have the emcee state the name/artist/composer shortly before or after the song.. That way, you will be protected from any copyright issues.

Your hotel manager is really strict. I haven't heard of this issue in other hotels so far..
