The people are really warm and very helpful. My only problem is that my wedding coordinator keeps changing so I have to deal with different types of people with different styles and strategies in planning the wedding so it can be very stressful.

Dear brides, i just went for my gown selection 2-3 weeks back. & just to share:

*pls do make sure that whatever you requested are written down in black & white to avoid any "conflicts". thankfully, mine was stated clearly. so even if there's a change of coordinator, it's still okay. cos they basically follow what is written on papers.
* gown selection wise, i do think there's quite a lot for the "actual day gowns" but i find that the outdoor gowns not much to my liking... BUT there was another bride trying on the gowns that day & somehow certain same gowns look better on her. and certain colors better on me. so i guess it's taste & preferences AND cutting. so if you're really unsure what is suitable, pls at least do some basic homework e.g. the type of gowns available so when you go, you know what type you need to try or prefer. i kept my mouth shut initially and the girl gave me all sorts of gowns that i just dont like. then me and my 2 sis start picking gowns ourselves - the very first one was the "winning" one.
* for the groom suit, there wasnt much to choose from, although there looks like a lot on the rack. & in the portfolio that they last time showed us. then we realized that you have to ask for it. e.g. there was a white one in their internet but we didnt get to see that one. turns out that one was taken out by others hence not seen on the rack & didnt get to try. but we can still try during our prewedding photoshot as the size for that design is available for my fiance for our prewedding shoot and actual day.
* just fyi, i was told that they only have 2 inhouse photographer (??). i was told that you will only get the "pictureME photographers" if you engaged them for the actual day photographers. in any case, i sign up elsewhere for the PG & VG actual day so no issues on that one.

all in all, i think French wedding service is quite okay so far despite the "everytime" change coordinator (i must be toooooo heng).
now, cross my fingers and hope that our prewedding photos come out nicely.
last note, i super love my actual day white wedding gown that i found there.

oh! forgot to add that there is a designer there who is very helpful. usually he keeps quiet at one side, seeing the brides try many gowns. then when he notice you cannot make up your mind, he will throw in some good advice for your gown selection. so that's a thumbs up, i guess.

in any case, if you need something or clarifications, ask ask ask. no harm asking anyway... i was at first paiseh to ask this and that cos scare that i end up a bridezilla.... but i end up "pek chek" awhile for nothing. better to have ask earlier... else like the groom suit, if we never asked, we didnt even know that they may not show you suit that are not available there. and that one, i was hoping my HTB can try that. so never ask, then we end up like at the losing end. so kpo abit or (act) blur abit & ask ask, i think is okay... :p

my coordinator kept changing too. it was like a funny joke to us... when they ask who's in charge, im like, oh your whole company cos everyone's attended to us before.
but well, as long they can get the things done properly and not mess up our gowns and sizing, then im good.
didnt need to go thru again and again, they just look at the papers what is included and they can proceed with the necessary.
if anything's not in accordance, i'll point out to them and they get it done for us :)

Hi, im a French bridal bride too. generally, they have a wide selection of beautiful gowns for the actual day ones... i totally love my white wedding gown.
it took awhile to find the evening gown that i like. i guess, colors matching had to play a part. And size too...
in anyway, size was secondary cos i tried a M size gown that was altered one size up. so heck the size issues. just ask bridal shop to help alter.

plus point: it was nice that their outdoor gowns were in good condition even though wore for outdoors. but i didnt like the short gown selection. not to my liking.

then another note, the bridal shop may not show you pieces which are not available for your wedding dates.
but if it's just not available on the pre-wedding photo day, then you can just change date, if possible.

My sincere advice to those couples who are looking for a bridal shop. Do not go to French bridal studio at 61, Tanjong Pagar Road. They are also called Jazz bridal studio.

Last year March, my wife and I went in to French/Jazz bridal studio to understand more about the quotation. This is the 2nd shop which we went in. We were attended by a lady by the name of Vivian. She showed us samples of wedding shots. There were a few shot of their indoor shoot which has a white piano. This actually captured my wife's eyes. My wife told me that since young it was her dream to have wedding shots with the background of a white piano. Vivian assured us that they have a beautiful white piano in their studio which my wife will definitely like it. I then joking asked Vivian that the white piano will definitely be around when we have our wedding shots in October right. She gave us the assurance that the white piano will definitely be around. We signed on the package and paid 50% deposit. After 3 months, no one from the studio called us for any arrangement. I called the studio and asked if Vivian will be calling us soon for any arrangement on the choosing of the gowns as promised. I was rudely told by a guy over the phone that Vivian is now taking care of roadshows and will not be in the shop. I need to go to Vivocity to look for her. We went. She was there and instead of apologising, she gave many excuses that she thought someone will call me etc. Nevertheless I asked her who is taking care of my account now as they have to be responsible for their customers. She gave me another girl's name and asked me to call her to make an appointment. My 1st DISAPPOINTMENT.

On the day of my wedding shoot at 830am, we proceed to Picture Me which is opposite of the bridal studio to have our indoor shoot. There was no white piano. The photographer just us that it was send out for repair. My wife was very disappointed. I told her that its only a white piano and just forget about it. Our 2nd DISAPOINTMENT. I clearly told the photographer that we would like to focus more on ourdoor rather than indoor. For the day shoot, I would like to go to 3 places which were Labrador Park, Hortpart and Henderson Waves. I would also like to go a nearby shophouse to take a few shots. He gave me the assurance and told me no problem as these places are very nearby. There was also another couple who is in the indoor studio taking their shoots. At 2pm, they left for their outdoor shoot. I asked the photographer if we should proceed out and he said no, it was too early. I asked him the question again and again at 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm. At last we left the studio at 530pm. I asked him if its too late as there might be a jam during the peak hours. He gave me the assurance again and told me not to worry. We went to the back and took some pictures with the background of the shophouses. After that we proceed to Hortpark. It was 610pm. I was very clear that we will never be able to go to 3 places in 50min. He told me again not to worry. After we reach at Hortpark and have our pictures taken, it was already 7pm. True enough, without apologising the photographer told us that we have no time to go to the other 2 locations. My 3rd DISAPPOINTMENT and my last straw. My wife and I were very disappointed. We have been wanting very badly to go to Labrador Park as that is the place which I proposed to my wife. Why must we leave the studio so late at 530pm after I have said so clearly that I wanted more outdoor shots than indoor?? I have been pressing the photographer to leave early but he wouldn't want to listen to my advise. Why the other couple can leave early and we can't?? I have checked with many of my friends and NONE of them leave the indoor studio at 530pm and have the intention to go to 3 locations.

I believe there are also successful stories coming out from this studio but unfortunately i'm not one of them. If the boss of French/Jazz bridal studio is reading this, please look for me if you do not agree. This is my true experience and I'm more than happy to speak to you.

hi, im a French wedding bride here. yesterday just went to check out my wedding album layout.

price wise, i think they're reasonable. (i sign up during a fair so got some freebies; diff wedding shows got diff freebies so i wont make comments)
AD gown wise, i like the selection available. there's a lot.. but if you do have something in mind, maybe better to check it out with them beforehand. can ask to try a few pieces first...
outdoor gown, limited selection compare to their AD ones. but i still manage to find the ones that i like. again, if you have something in mind specified, better to check w them in advance if they got what you looking for...
rom dress -i havnt chose that yet
photo wise - we worked with charlie. very nice guy. we like how he's listening to what we want for the photos, so when the prints are out for selection, we really had a headache not to overselect the photos... haha
make up wise - i work with Anna... i just got to know her name is spelt as Edna. nice lady. i like that she got Many variety accessories to let me mix and match for my different outfits. hehe... love the bling bling ones.

just another thing to take note... the wedding coordinator seems to keep changing... so far, im the one who's more proactive to call them to book appt. thankfully after a few appt, we seems to be have Rachel in charge now. we were joking like "everyone's in charge of our wedding" in reply to "who's your coordinator" cos we had like 3-4diff person handling our things that time.. haha.

in anycase, no need le cos now appt all set and just waiting for photo layout final version, the ROM dress selection, fittings & AD etc...yeah!! all in all, im a happy bride here so far.

extra photos are expensive... i did not top up. (abt SGD90 per photo stated on paper)
rather, earlier i had bargained for more photos during sign up

i like the bigger photos instead of many smaller photos on one page... so estimated about 1.5photo per page (or 3photos per 2pages)
used my friend's album as guideline that time..hers was 43photos, 30pages... very very big book in my opinion.
then i had friends who have about 2 albums wan... very nice on reception to see. but now they all complain spend the money and the album under the bed / inside the cupboard...
all saying better to spend on renovation.. omg..
