How did he propose?

my hubbie proposed to me when we were spending the weekend at home together. it was really simple but it was enough to make me cry. we were just cuddling at home, watching our favorite show and eating. then he said that days like those are perfect moments for him. while munching on my popcorn, he suddenly showed the ring and asked, "i want to spend moments like this with you. will you marry me?" i was a crying mess. <3

Days before the proposal we had a conversation with a couple of friends about overseas photography and he actually said - why not? But I rejected that idea flat since there was no big occasion to fly overseas just for a couple shoot and he replied "what makes you so sure?" haha...if he didn't say anything I wouldn't have even suspected!

Mine was done over our first year anniversary staycation and he was all sneaky about the hotel's location until the end..In the car I vaguely heard glasses clinking and he brushed it aside saying he brought wine to celebrate the event. Throughout he fiercely refused to exchange presents anywhere else but the hotel room and I thought it funny enough. Later in the room, we were exchanging anniversary presents and he wrote me a card saying there are two presents - when we agreed on one each so he told me to close my eyes - and i heard the box open. :)

He proposed on one bended knee and that was it. An "I do" in a heartbeat. Nothing fancy, nothing weepy, just two people in one hotel room and one ring.

I did ask him later why not at the restaurant later that night - which he claimed who have been to cliche with the ring served in champagne.

Mine was on Chu Yi of this year. We were at my grandma's place and I was asking him to play blackjack with my relatives but he kept saying he could not play because he was a magician. (He showed me a few card tricks before. =.=||)

Yet he suddenly agreed but announced that he wanted to show us 3 magic tricks first before we started the game. He then insisted on someone recording him (he actually asked my elder sister beforehand, but she was unfortunately out of the room at that point in time on a call) so I unknowingly started recording him on my phone.

Hilariously (maybe not so much for him), he received really lukewarm reactions towards his first trick, and my relatives started jeering (jokingly) when he tried his second trick which was an amateur's trick of guessing the card.

Moving on to his 3rd and final trick, he claimed that he needed help from me, and asked me to pass my phone to my younger sister. Then he said that it was the most difficult trick because it could only ever be done once. After a long pause, he announced that the trick was to change his girlfriend into his wife, took out the ring and kneeled down.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I started crying when I realized what was going on, haha!

he took to my favorite place and set up a dinner date there. every thing was really planned out very well and that was one of our most romantic nights ever. :D

he organized a dinner with both our parents present. i was not suspicious because we do this quite often. in the middle of the dinner, he left and suddenly the lights went out for a few minutes. when it went back up, he was already kneeling in front of me with the ring.

We had a movie marathon at his place and while he was preparing the food, he suddenly took my hand and said that this is how he wants to spend every single day with me... filled with laughter and simple special moments. Next thing I know, he pulls out a ring and gets down on his knee. <3

he set me up on my bday. we ate on our usual resto and when the fortune cookie plate came he gave me 1 and when i opened it the ring was there
