i didn't have a romantic or extravagant proposal. in fact, all my HTB said was "i want to marry you. Let's do it next year?". We went to shop for rings. Sometimes I wonder if it was too easy for him.

we were in venice when he got down on one knee..

i rmb being so so so tired from all the walking and was ready to just plonk myself down on the ground, but he kept insisting on finding some place to sit down.

we were near the grand canal and it was already 6+ but quite dark (cos winter), and if you've been to venice you would know that it becomes a ghost town after 6.. hahah.

he then asked if i wanted to watch a video, and since we were normally very random i didn't think much of it. the video started as a story about how a boy met a girl and i rmb thinking it was a very cute cartoon hahaha. then it started flashing photos of us!

that was when it hit me that he was about to propose! then he got down one knee and.. the rest is history
