How many times did you apply for BTO before getting it?

my bf and i tried the May-11 BTO. gotten a Q number which exceed the no. of flats supplied but within 300%. we even got a date to go down to book the flat. however, we forgo the chance as we had a good Q number in Jul-11 BTO. very happy to have alrd booked the unit of our choice. now waiting to sign the lease of agreement!

That bad huh? I just helped my mum to apply for the latest SA in Sep BTO under Punggol Waterway Brooks.. Am hoping she can get a decent queue no. so that she can stay near me in future...

I tried once, and I got it.
I was expecting better Q no., but gotta 1/4...

I try for 7 years, lost count on the number of tries for BTOs but in the end I managed to save enough money for an EC

Makes me worried when I read that so many people tried so manyt times over the years and didn't get it.

I'm a first timer too!

Paid $60-70 to HDB before we finally got our unit... and we weren't fussy at all.

IN fact we were prepared to get a low floor during our 5 or 6th try but when it came to our appointment date, the quota for race became zero.

Finally we got it on the 7th ballot!

I think nowadays the system has changed and more people are able to get it at 1st or 2nd ballot.
