How to plan honeymoon: TIPS ?

Wondering if theres any tips for planning a honeymoon?

You can first discuss the budget with htb... Brainstorm where to go... What kind of vacation you both enjoy? (beach, exotic places, watersports, trekking, nature, climbing, shopping, farmstay, etc)

Then you can research the shortlisted destinations about when is the best time to visit, weather, etc.
Go by tour or f&e...
Ask colleagues, friends and family for their experiences and opinion.

Then, select suitable dates to go...dont have to be immediately aftr the wedding. Just choose a convenient and comfortable date.

Oh..and remember to buy insurance.

give yourself enough time to go for your honeymoon. dont just go for the sake of going! main point is to enjoy :)

ya going for a tour group setting or just u and hubby? If going without tour group then you need to research and plan where are the places you want to visit as well as the hotel you wan to stay in. Try not to pick places that are too far apart if you are going without a tour group. If its just u and hubby, maybe just romancing each other in 1 romantic place would be better than travelling to different parts of Europe for example.

Dont cramp so many things in itinerary, otherwise will be v tiring and you cant really get to enjoy :)

erm, dont overspend? especially if you spent a lot on your wedding. be prudent, and budget properly

choose a place that both of you would love to go to, and engage in activities that you both like. say the two of you like taking pictures of nature, then you two can visit the zoo and theme parks.. or if you two are adventurous, then you can try water sports.

my HTB and I firm up a budget and number of days we can spend on the honeymoon (i dont have too many annual leave to take >_<

then we zoom in on the areas that we would like to go - those that fit our budget and days.

we finalized on going to one country instead of running all over Europe, which I heard my friends said is very tiring. trying not to cramp everything in & going for those places of interest that we think we really really dont want to miss

Budget is very important; you will first need to know the costs in the places that you want to go. Don't overspend in a honeymoon go to some place that you and your DH will enjoy together. You can go to a nearest beach or you can plan a trip overseas.

decide on the place where you want to spend your honeymoon. do some research about the place and the costs for the trip, then save up and budget for your honeymoon. :)
