Hi all BTBs,
Need some advice pls. My fiance and I planned to have a simple wedidng affair this year. We only plan to invite relatives and really close friends to our solemnisation event.

Would like to check if it's ok not to have customary ie tea serving ceremony, An Chuan, Guo Da Li etc. We will only be staying together when our house is ready next year.

depends on how much you care about your relatives' opinions. some feel that the solemnisation event is the time that you have to do the customaries.

the flow of the wedding is really up to the both of you. if you feel that you do not need it, then do away with it.. but if you value tradition, go through with it.
