Palawan featured in Bourne Legacy Movie

Have you visited Palawan, Philippines? I have seen a clip of the place in the movie Bourne Legacy and I was astonished to see the pristine shorelines and crystal blue waters.

After seeing the movie, I researched Palawan in the Internet and found out that there are a lot of tourist spots there, such as the firefly watch, Underground River, and other eco-adventure. However, I am quite hesitant about going there.

Is the place safe? Is it expensive to stay in Palawan? Would my trip be worth it? When is the best month to go there? Please if you have experiences in going to the Philippines or in Palawan please give me your thoughts and reviews regarding the place... THANK YOU

I've never been in the Philippines but my brother went there last December. My brother was so amused by the scenery in Palawan. He always mentioned about the hospitality and friendliness of the people. He really felt secured in the place.

I think it would be best if you go to Palawan during the off-peak season and that is from JUNE-SEPTEMBER and JANUARY-MARCH.

I've heard that the Palawan Underground River is included in the Top 10 Wonders of the World. I think just to be included on the list would mean that the place is really filled with wonders.

it's quite unfortunate that Palawan is not very famous to other tourists. most of them prefer visiting boracay instead of palawan

Just reading your description about Palawan gives me goosebumps! I'm going to search for this place on the Internet. I am very interested in visiting the underground river since it part of the top 7 wonders of the world

i fell in love with Palawan when I first saw it. everything is so serene and peaceful you cannot help but relax. there's a lot of virgin forests and caves too.

we visited it once. the place is really awesome. lots of hospitable people. they love tourists and the scenery, beaches, and caves are really breath-taking. :)

I've seen the movie but I haven't visited the place yet. The scenery was really very lovely to look at. I'm still looking forward to visiting there next time.

I have a lot of friends experienced and the result its all thumbs up with the place. Once in a lifetime experience! I plan next yeart around 2nd quater would be better.

My colleague from philippines he always tell me to try go Palawan its like a paradise. Wohhhh! I can't wait next year to discover this place together w/ my gF.... HEHEH
