Anyone here seen the Regent Hotel's Tanglin room before? Thinking of booking that room for my banquet, but photos seem to show that the aisle is rather narrow.. issit even walkable!?!? but i really like Regent hotel for their deco.. :)

Hi xiaoyan & rojak, Regent's hotel is quite grand but the banquet price is expensive. Unless you have no budget and ready to spend for the right ambience and for the grand feel (because it is a 5-star hotel), you can certainly book with Regent. However, 1 thing to take note: their ceilings are not as high as some of the other hotels' ballrooms I have visited and they have 1 or 2 pillars in the ballroom which may block or obstruct guests' view of the couple's march-in and when the couple is on the stage. And their wedd co-ord can be quite pushy and not too customer service oriented. She will ask you tactfully if you got enough to spend on banquet and they do not really allow you to bargain or ask for more deals to be bundle in. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Hi guys I just went to Regent for viewing yesterday and was met up with a nice sales lady who is not pushy. Let me know if you still need the price list.

Does Regent willing to give more perks if we try to bargain for it??
Perks provided doesnt seem alot, or not shown on the list??

Aquila what perks are you looking at? I just went down to regent yesterday to talk about my package with them so as of now am waiting for their proposal.

errr if you are talking about food tasting we dun feel its necessary as we are quite confident with their food. anyway they did offer the food tasting part But its still upon approval from her boss. From what we understand is that there is a limit of perks they can offer so we are thinking not having the food tasting but ask for something else that we want instead.

Hey girls, I also visited regent.. Natalie was the one who attended to me. Was she the one who attended to you? I thought the packages were very good, with alot of perks automatically added in without me asking. There was alot of wine/beer/free night's stay.. the only thing which was missing was free food tasting, which we asked for. the number of cards and car passes are also higher than most other hotels' packages, i felt. what else are you gals looking for? not sure if i missed out on anything impt to ask for..

hi rojak. Natalie attended to me too. as you mentioned those are the perks that she automatically add in without me asking too.

So will you be holding your banquet there? and care to share which room you are looking at ?

Can we email another coordinator (eg: Contact Natalie instead) rather then the initial coordinator who has replied in the first 2~3 emails?

Hi, when you mentioned alot of wine/beer/free night stay,
Do you mean Regent is willing to offer more bottles of free wine per table / from 20L to 30L (or free flow beer) / additional 1 more night stay when you asking for more perks? Does Regent offer discount room rate for the wedding oversea guests?
