there's one quite well known traditional xi-bing shop at tiong bahru. that stretch of shops opposite tiong bahru mall. Especially over the weekend, I will go there buy some traditional pastries sometimes.

Bengawan Solo vouchers more of like... full month? Pardon me for saying that. But I guess as long as u and ur HTB and ur family thinks it's ok, then I guess it's fine?

i think giving voucher feels abit weird, like no sincerity (what my mum says)
guess some relatives are more old fashioned. chinatown has nice xi bing shops, those bakeries have been there for a long time. I'm sure your relatives will like those, they may even have eaten before when they were young
