Banquet Recommendation. ::blushing:

Hi BTB/All,

I'm looking for about 25-30 tables banquet dinner for 2014. Any recommendation from anyone? As I'm quite concern on the following issues and usually hotel like Fairmont, Swissôtel Merchant Court, etc.. they don't accept me due to the number of tables. Heard of MBS but the review on food don't seem to be good? People mention the food potion very little, not filling at all? So anyone come across with following expectation during your review and showcase visit?

Care to share?

1) High Ceiling Ballroom, best is pillar less?
2) Food quality and quantity fair - good? *Not small potion
3) 25-30 tables
4) Prefer Saturday Dinner
5) Nice decoration for ballroom
6) Reasonable price *Not something like 1588++ and above. hehehehe..

Oh Yup BTB. Since wedding is once in a life time, would you consider holding at restaurant or hotel? What if you manage to shortlist a restaurant that provide good quality and quantity of food + nice location with high ceiling ballroom, however not so much of privacy, will you take up that option?

*I'm quite stress up with the choosing of location* :(

There are many hotels out there provide 25-30 tables, just to name a few:

1. Grand Corpthone Waterfront
2. Four Seasons
3. Marina Mandarin
4. M Hotel
5. Goodwood Park Hotel

You are comfortable with anything below 1588++? That's quite a high range budget already...

Thanks for your feedback. There is still hotel but they are low ceiling if we don't meet their min table requirement of 35 tables or even 40 tables. Saturday dinner seem to having higher condition.

But thanks anyway. =)

Hi Claire,

you can try ParkRoyal at Beach Road :) their new ballrooms have high ceiling of 7m and no pillars plus weekend dinner only cost about $1088++ per table! I have the artist impression on my blog if you are interested to see! Heard that they are almost done now and show case will be in early sep! you can consider the banquet in yunnan garden. very reasonably priced and the food is delicious too.
