i would say about 1.5-2 months of your salary. which means that if your salary is 4k, the wedding ring would be about 8k. The wedding ring sort of indicates how much you are willing to sacrifice for her. :p

Hi, my bf bought me a real expensive ring and I was asking him did he buy during any roadshow or festive seasons promo? He said no and I was so angry because jewelleries are best bought with great discounts during such periods. So try to scout around for some great deals during Xmas, CNY or V-day period? Hope this helps! Thanks!

Aww but at least he doesn't mind spending the money to get the best for you :) V-day is a good occasion for him to get you a necklace ^^

Yes..I think V-day is a very special occasion to present your loved ones a jewellery! Of course, special days like Birthdays and Anniversaries would be ideal as well.

Yup yup :) My SO bought his ring for me from dunno where but the diamond is authentic and he says he got it from overseas as the ones in Singapore jewelleries are often spiked up in price much higher than the worth of the diamond. I think Hong Kong might be a gd place to pick jewelleries that are much lower in price than in SG. I remember a friend talked about it before.

wow really? but it's not easy to find reputable ones in hk right, i sorta feel safer with singapore ones cos in hk dont know what they can pass off as diamonds haha.

hi bride to be's:

H2B and I got our wedding bands at Love & Co in Ion Orchard. They specialize on Wedding bands and the prices are tad affordable! We went through a lot of shops in SG but Love & Co got our hearts! :) They have a variety of rings you can choose from and they even customize for you! We will be getting our bands on end Of March and we can't wait! :)

Sorry for my late contribution as I just join this community
I got mine about $2.5k its about 0.5 carat + from Lee Hwa
To me, it must be big, next will be clarity ...
So far i think this proposal ring is good enough - big and "diamond" clear... ^^

must important is your wiffy loves it
some of my friends do not have a proposal ring but an expensive wedding band instead

Hence, a proposal ring of 2K ++ is good enough ^^

Regarding of the wedding bands, we have not choose them yet ...
I will look into the design first regardless of the brands.

However, you will need to take note that if you are wearing it everyday, do find a better quality ones which could withstand damage due to daily wear. :)

Same same  I am more attracted to elegant designs than the brand name. Afterall what is visual is the design and the look of it, not the brand.

Is it ok if the wedding band for the groom is different from the bride, in terms of colour? For instance one is white gold, the other rose gold?

I think it is ok if the color is different. Though we see most times the groom and bride have similar design and color I believe that is like a symbol of unity and something like only the couple have the same kind of ring. Are you looking for the same design but different color Clara?

He brought me to choose the proposal ring, love the sookee brillant rose ^^ wedding band also from sookee, glossy with diamond. It's quite unique since I don't suit evergreen designs :)
