2014 Brides!

Hello All,
Why so many ppl getting married in March? Just curious...

I am starting to look for banquet.... Any recommendations?? I am looking at Grand Copthorne because i like the garden theme and the food not bad but min 40 tables... My friend got married 2 years ago, the price is 33% lesser and min table only 30.

My criteria is:
- Open concept ( without pillars), of course food and ambience not too lousy as well.
- Can hold 30 or slightly more tables.
- Estimated $1.3k nett

Care to share things to prepare? I am drafting the estimated guests so that i can better eliminate the choices.

Kept buying wedding magazine for research. But the pictures.. Are deciving, we still have to make a trip down to see the real thing:)

If you have the time to spare, you should check out every shop! But it really is very tiring.
As my husband wanted the simple, traditional and plain 916 yellow gold ring, we only went a goldsmith (177 TPY Central) to get his ring. The plain gold ring didn't suit me so I bought an 18k gold with small diamonds one from Poh Heng. I made that decision within 10minutes as I was too lazy to look around more and I regretted doing so...so I would encourage all BTBs to slowly browse as many shops as possible ^_^

I had my ROM, a beach wedding, at Rasa Sentosa in Aug 2012 and I'm planning to hold my Chinese Banquet in Aug 2014

Yea. I have been to a few shops that's all located at ION. Haa.. one time walk in see all. So far shortlisted 1 design from each shop. Still looking...

Hi everyone!~

I'm a 2014 bride as well.. But havent decide on the date yet, will be making appt with a FSM (Master Tong) to calculate the good date for wedding & ROM. Alot of other friends getting married in 2014, so have to try hard not to clash with them..

Only bought Thomas wedding package last yr (Bcoz was being "psychoed".) Alot of other things havent do yet, havent see banquet yet.. Getting worried yet kinda lazy to crack my brains to think all these.. :(

Still considering abt banquet.. Anyone thinkin of asking some ext party to decorate the banquet area?

Do you mean Thomson wedding. I signed up a package with them too...

Hihi, I am also 2014 BTB! :D Although we have not finalized a date yet, we have more or less decided the AD to be somewhere mid year.

Problem now is both fiancé and I are living miles apart... as I am working overseas now. It makes planning a big obstacle! Hopefully planning will go on smoothly... :)

Hihi btbs! I'm also planning to hold my banquet & rom sometime in the first half of 2014, cuz our place should be ready around then:) heard 2014 is gonna be a hot year for banquets hehe.

Hi all

I'm a BTB in 2014 too, actual date is not fixed yet but we're looking at somewhere in 4th quarter of 2014 =p

Currently looking for hotels or restaurants in JB as HTB's family is in Malaysia, any good suggestions? Bridal packages are welcome as well ^^
