4 gold compulsory..??

My dad insist on the 4 gold coz my mum is teochew. while i m hockien my htb is hainanese. my dad is insistant on 4 gold n my future mother in law is insistent that this is unnecessary so this is a bad start on the negotiation. What is a gd way to solve this ??

Actually the resolution is ask my HTB to buy la.. I chip in a bit. then in this manner my dad is happy. since his mother so ngiao then no need her to incur cost. if ppl ask just say HTB bought it.
