My AD is in nov. my fren engaged shuyen previously for her ROM & AD. she's very niao type and she's very happy with his service. He's very hardworking and one pose he will take multiple shots (repeated snaps)- don't really know how to explain but you can see the movement.

I see. Haha. Niao type sounds funny, hope she don't get to see this. Hmm.. Not too sure about whether it's good anot to take multiple shots at one pose, sounds abit like in-experience. Anyway the pictures are looking quite ok, but he's using a rather wide angle lens and quite a number of images with the face and body distorted which I think is not a nice way to photographing ppl. Not sure if you like it that way but it's not for me. Some editing might be a little too much as well. anyway thanks for sharing.

Lastly, Alan's pricing is very affordable, I am paying him for less than a thousand dollars (morning, solemnisation, hotel's walkabout shoot during AD and dinner - definitely more than 10 hours).. Furthermore, he really trusted wedding couples so much that he don't even collect any deposit.. He told me, if couples trust me and engage me to shoot their wedding, I should trust them too - which is really nice..

It's very common, just depending how they phrase it. Especially for those professional firm. If you get those amateur ones, maybe they won't require.

I think everyone Shld be experiencing the same thing. Not just for wedding. I went for a family shoot and one of us is required to sign an invoice for our purchase. Under the "super tiny" terms and conditions, it states the studio will have full copyright over the images taken. for wedding it's the same :)

Your images will probably be only in your photographer's website or maybe fb. That's it. If its gonna be ALL over the Internet, either u are a celebrity, or ur images is so nice or screwed up that everyone is sharing. Haha.

Haha... that's the problem, i scared my images are screw up and everyone is sharing!!! Jokes aside, but i still don't like the idea of having my photos on photograper's website/ FB loh.... hmm.. wonder if i can ask him to use my photos or not.... Anyway, thank you for your info :)

May I know what's exactly does Cinematography means?? Isn't it the same for montage of photos?

His style is very candid which is what i prefer. he did very nice layout and put the images tgt very well but due to price concern we did not sign for the photobook(hubby says he can do it also with the soft copies..... and i pray hard!..). my friend highly recommended him and asked me not to look elsewhere... i still did my homework and meet up with a few photographers but i still ended up with him. he will brief us on some ways to improve the photos. like where will be a good spot for group photos in my house and get me to make necessary arrangement(moving of furniture) as that day we wont have time for all these. hes really affordable for his experience and skills.
