Package was signed up in Oct 2012 (they dont usually give this price for the package i had bargained and had managed to give me this price as I have friends who are ex-bridal concept brides)

6) 2 x fathers jacket

6) Bridal & brothers cars Decor (up to 6 cars for brothers)

8) 1 Trial makeup (can be used for your ROM if it is on a separate day from your actual day wedding) Morning & Night makeup for bride, night makeup for groom (ampoules, eyelashes, etc are standard additional charges)

Hi,

Has anyone signed up the package recently? I've recently visited their road show at Suntec but is still thinking of their offered package. Am doing the photo shoot in Singapore.

Hi All,
I had a very bad experience with this black shop. My package total is $2,400+, make-up artist and photographer are not bad, patient and professional. We signed the package in Suntec roadshow and the sales person was very nice, complying with what we requested. And she said we can pay the 30% or 50% deposit and the balance pay on the final day. So we pay 50% + of deposit. But when we go down the shop to choose the dress, we totally can't find that sales person and another shop assistant manager serve us. When we start the conversation, her first reply is " so are you able to pay the balance payment now?" and she started to say different things. I realized that the dress design variety are not that much for outdoor. Really disappointed with the services and photo album/ print out quality . We went down there 6 times and every time we met different sales person,* and each of them are talking different things and keep asking for the money in advance. But for me, I am afraid to pay the money before we received what we signed. Really sad about this bad experience. :(Hope this can help you all. Good Luck and Have a great day!

Experience w Bridal Concept (Bugis)

Hi all BTBs,

I've finally finished my wedding which took me 1 year to prepare. Here are some of the experience I had with the bridal studio - Bridal Concept for your reference:

1. Coordinator: Sharon - very patient, attentive and prompt in providing professional advice/ suggestion for my ROM, pre-wedding photo-shoot, actual day.

2. MUA: Tiffany - make-up skill: 6.5/10 (the reason I could rank this is because I also invited another freelance MUA to make up for me during the same period and it turned out this freelance MUA is much better than Tiffany in terms of make-up skill and no giving me stunts), she knows how to sweet talk and cut throat brides. Throughout my ROM & pre-wedding photo-shoot, my hubby and I were always pushed to get ampoule so that we could look "more natural" after make-up since "it is once in the life time thing". The most irritating experience we had happened on our actual day: from my previous experience, I realized that ampoule does not make a lot of difference on my face so decided to omit out (partially also to save cost). Thinking that we just needed to pay for the extra eyelashes (S$20/time x 2 times - morning & evening) and save on the ampoule (S$20/time x 2 times - morning & evening); at the end of day, we were told by Tiffany that we needed to pay her total of S$80, as she put double-layer eyelashes for me (S$20/time x 4 times - 2 in morning & 2 in evening). As I usually don't wear make-up, I did not realize that she put double-layer eyelashes for me without telling me about it before she even started. Previously during my ROM & pre-wedding photo-shoot, I was recommended to get single-layer eyelashes (S$20/time) and I looked perfectly fine in those pictures. So I could not say much than being conned to meet her extra income target per bride. So all BTBs, please take note and talk straight to your MUA, especially if your MUA is Tiffany. I believe she still has many more stunts to earn extra from you.

3. Pre-wedding photo-shoot: Kino - photography skill is ok. But attitude is terrible. Even when we offered for him to take our transport for free (by right, he should have his own studio transport), he still complained the whole journey that the car is too small and too uncomfortable. He kept commenting why we didn’t pay extra to get MUA go along for the outdoor photo-shoot (as it will be more fun for him). He doesn't care much about the bride & groom. He just walked on his own speed without considering that bride & groom having many things to carry (such as props, etc.) or running to follow him (just imagine you are wearing your wedding gown, holding it high so that you could run after your photographer). He won't tell you where you are going and ask you which places you want to take photos at. So do try to out-speak him if you "luckily" get him as your pre-wedding photographer.

4. Actual day photographer: Andy - photography skill is ok, I hope (as I haven't seen the pictures yet). He is rather experienced in wedding customs and creating fun moments. He is rather specific in terms of how many hours he provides service (by right, his service ended at 11 pm; but by left, he told us that he needed to stop at 10.45 pm. We were too busy to count in details with him, so let him go as and when he said his time was up).

Overall, the experience with BC is 6/10. Without the "contribution" from Tiffany & Kino, I believe the rating could be higher.

That's all my experience with BC. Hope it could be of help to all BTBs. Every bride deserves a stress-free and trick-free wedding.

Hi all, I had a bad experience with Bridal Concept as well! Went to the recent BOWS' last day (Sun) and was offered a very customised package by Andy and Stella (the Managing Director) was sitting beside him at the end of it and knew exactly the package offered to us. Basically mine was a pre-wedding photoshoot in Korea (probably taking in 2016) and a simple ROM lunch in Nov 15. Andy gave us a customised package to which Stella seconded. However, we wanted a cool-off period to think and also find some reviews and also wanted to look at their gowns in physical before we decide. So they gave us a 1-week grace, took down my number and our names on the piece of paper where they wrote the package details. It was $3888 nett and even offered us a $300 off as their 16th year anniversary promotion. So we happily left.

6 days later (Sat), we made appointment with Stella and went down to their shop at Liang Seah St. After trying some gowns, we were quite satisfied and went on to ask for the negotiated package. To our astonishment, they said they could not find the piece of paper and they took a photo of us and whatsapped Andy who went back to Malaysia already, to ask him details of the offer for us. And Andy actually replied that the package price offered to us was $5888! Of course, we were pissed and Stella kept saying we shouldn't quarrel over such issue and she would try to find that piece of paper and insisted that they wouldn't quote us $3888 for that kind of things we wanted. We were more pissed by then and said there is no point for us to argue further since the only proof cannot be found. We left without a word more.

Of course, there will be good reviews on them, there will be bad ones. Just happened that I have to leave a bad one. I shall not judge them based on this experience as I believe they definitely have their plus points for being in this industry for 16 years. Just hope that they would honour their words all the times because it was really a waste of our time and effort but in the end all we got was utter disappointment. And now, I have to start my hunt for a good customised package all over again.

Hi there,

we also went to BOWS and got a quote from them. Ours is a very simple package (no photoshoot, just gown and some extras). They gave us a quote and as we indicated that we wanted to go around have a look at some other shops first, they were very insistent and almost rude in keeping us back. Saying that there's no need to compare. In the end we left and found another package costing only 2/3 of the quoted price and including more things.

So if you want to buy from this shop, make sure you compare well.
