Hi All,
Just came back from my photoshoot in Kaohsiung and Taipei.... Very tiring.... Overall experience is still very good. Below is the short review on the staffs....
Cang Ai Kaohsiung: (Customer Service is very good and everyone there are very courteous, very professional)
Gowns: Average for me, cos somehow I can only have pure white gowns due to some Feng Shui.... The gowns for the actual day is really much much better than the photography ones... Kaohsiung ones are better I can say... Taipei one limited.... Maybe also cos I didn't look at any of the white gowns as all are not pure white....
MUA in Kaohsiung: Mine is Zi Yi. (李姿儀) I can say she is a very detailed person.... My eyes are the hardest to do, and she patiently does it..... She ensures that it is not one big and one small and the eyes are enhanced.... It is very natural and nice.... Her skills are good, hairstyling also not bad. She will pick the accessories that are suitable for me... and prepare things before the actual day shooting. Very nice....
Photographer in Kaohsiung: Tony Huang.... (Dunno how to write the chinese name) He is very particular about our posing... I can say the photos are nice.... Very nice pose for both of us cos I am not slim but he made me look slim... He got very high expectations on us.. which we have a hard time accommodating to his requests of posing.... sometimes got reprimanded alittle.... But it is still good for a strict photographer to make you look nice.... Goos skills he has..... Scenaries wise maybe due to time constraint and the weather, didn't really managed to get the very magnificant photos.....
Photography Assistant: Ah Yan... No namecard, but remember his name... He is also very professional... Very helpful to both the groom and the bride.... As bride's gowns are usually long, he will pay extra attention and go extra mile to let you walk at ease with no worries. He will also guide you the way to the places that you are taking photo with.... Making it easier to walk for both bride and groom. My boy, he used the frame without the lens so he couldn't see, he will point out the way for him, so we are very grateful.
Gown selection staff: Nina Huang & another lady.. They are very helpful to select the gowns for the bride, very patient.... They will choose nice gowns for you to choose, you can say what kind you like and the colour and they will try their best to help you out. Don't worry if you can't find any nice ones off the rack, they have more in their storeroom I suppose and they will show you if you would like to try....
Cang Ai Taipei: (Customer Service is very good and everyone there are very courteous, very professional)
Gowns: Not too much as compared to Kaohsiung, but anyway managed to get one out of the many... I will really prefer the banquet ones... But too bad, not for choosing.....
MUA in Taipei: 李松真.... She is very good too, very professional... Make up all very nice too.... she is also quite detailed... paying attention of how what you like and what will suit you... Will make brides very pretty and happy.... She is very fun-loving too... Very chatty..... At least you won't be bored in the progress of the make up.
Photographer in Taipei: 粘宗豪.... I think he should be good at photo taking too.... But then I think he might be too tired for all the photos he got to take.... I didn't especially enjoy the experience, cos I think I look super fat with double chin in the photos.... He didn't really ask us to pose nicely... Maybe he is just particular about the scenaries or so..... Photography angle wise like very normal, nothing too special, so I hope if you get him in future, tell him what you want, and maybe you need to ask him to point out for the poses. Anyway the venue we took at, it is still nice, just that the background or the props are dirty here and there.. So can't expect too much.... But maybe after more editing, we will look nice in the photos.
Gown Selection Staff: Can't remember her name... She is good, very helpful in getting the gowns for the bride to choose, but then you need to be very particular what you really want then she could be helpful to choosing the correct piece for you... If not it might not be something that you really like.... So be precise of what you want... It will make their job easier...
Photography Staff: Ah Bao & Allen.... They are both very young... Very good and helpful..... They will help you with your bags and the tidy the bride's gown and the groom's just to make them look neat...... I remember one instance where my nubra was alittle visible, Ah bao helped by informing me to hide it.... Allen is alittle new so not all the things he is attentive or experienced enough.... But he is of great help to the groom, he helps with his bag and also help to shelter us on the day when it was raining.. So he is still very good.. Keen to learn new stuffs too....
Overall experience with them are still very good... Hopefully on the actual day for me next year, it will be perfect that new gowns are in for me to choose and they will prepare some nice pure white gowns for me.... Wish it will be smooth then what designs and all the rest to my preference....

MUA in Kaohsiung: My was 李姿儀, I can say she is a very wonderful MUA.... The make up she does for me was VERY VERY nice and natural. Although i have only 4 gowns but each location we went for photoshoot, she volunteer to change my hair style and assessories for me! She was so professional and approachable. Really would wish to ask her to come to SG for my actual day but she has been booked by a Hong Kong couple...
Photographer in Kaohsiung: Daniel.... He was quite strict on the pose that he wants from us but he will teach us the way to pose and he is very good in making us smile. After a long day of shooting, so tired of smiling but he will still find jokes to make us laugh throughout the shoot. Alot of poses that he will ask us to do make me look so slim, heehee... Pictures taken was nice!
Photography Assistant: Ah Xiang. Not very intelligent, some photos of mine has his shadow in it.

During my early morning make-up, before leaving the place, they still ask if we want bubbletea and they even order delivery for us as afraid we will be hungry as my makeup started at 7am!
Overall experience with them are still wonderful... Hopefully on this saturday, while selecting layout of our photos in SG outlet will be a smooth one too! Cant wait to meet up Vicky (SG outlet assistant) this saturday who have helped me so much before the trip by printing all the train maps, suggesting where to stay, eat and play in taiwan. She also help us make necessary arrangements for our photoshoot!

Was just looking around and thought of sharing my experience with CangAi
Overall, I would say, the entire experience was fantastic! I just got married 2 weeks ago and the photoshoot was done in Taipei in January 2013.
Just like many couples, we did checked out various boutiques, shortlisted 2 before deciding on CangAi. What attracted us was firstly, the reasonable package price, the brand name and then the gowns selection.
Like many others, the shoot in Taipei was fun! Everyone there was so friendly and nice and most importantly, not pushy at all when comes to the selection of the photos. No pressure to buy additional pics! We made friends with the gown assistant and the photographer and his assistant.. Keeping in touch via FB!
In Singapore, we were served by both Vicky and Jiajia. I would say, no major issues about them both. Very helpful too. The gowns selection is rather extensive! Just that, maybe it's a little lacking in the evening gowns selection but still, enough for us to pick something which complements me to the max! hahahahaha
Re the MUA. I got Xiaojing to assist me. A very gentle and kind lady, no wonder so popular! But I would say, MUA should be the last to worry about on the long list of preparation. Think all of them are very skillful and would be able to meet your standard on your special day!

Me too. I'm satisfied and pleased with the service that they gave us. Their staff and service are really knowledgeable about what they're doing and did not give me a hard time. Their gowns are all beautiful. They offer a wide variety of wedding gown choices, from simple to elegant and to those filled with designs. I also like MUA service and the photoshoot too.

My experience of pre-wedding photo-shooting by Cangai
Just would like to share my experience about my pre-wedding photo shooting. I have made reference of much information from the forum and I guess now it would be the time to share in the forum too.
My wife and I have signed a pre-wedding photo package with a Taiwan based bridal shop named Cangai/ True Love during the bridal fair in March 2013. During the fair, we met one of the Cangai's in-charge, namely Pei Chen. She is a Taiwanese from Kaohsiung and we felt comfortable to express our expectation and needs to her. She shared important and useful tips about pre-wedding photo shooting. She was not hardcore selling and told us all costs and expenses for photo-shooting with no hidden costs. We have signed the pre-wedding photo package for photo shooting in Kenting and Singapore at a reasonable price as comparison to some of the bridal shops at the fair.
During the first visit to Cangai Singapore in Tanjong Pagar, a Taiwanese namely Jia Jia was assigned to handle my pre-wedding photo package. She is very friendly and discussed all the items to note and our concerns in details. Our concerns were written down and followed up. In addition, reminder calls were always given prior to any meeting and pre-wedding photo shooting.
Prior to photo shooting in Kaohsiung, we met up with the Taiwanese customer service, Mio for choosing gown and suit. The customer service was very professional and took note of the type of pre-wedding photos my wife wanted. At the end, my wife selected a few gowns she liked. We also met up with photographer, Evan for discussing about our expectation. Evan also jotted down our ideas and request in a booklet and we did not need to repeat again the next day.
On the day of photo-shooting, the make-up artist, Mango discussed the type of make-up with my wife. The make-up was amazing and was per my wife’s expectation. A team of Photographer, Make-up artist and Lighting engineer (Ah Yan) was accompanying us for photo-shooting (not sharing with other couples). They are very friendly and funny and enlighten the day of photo shooting. We felt that we had so much fun and enjoyed the day of photo-shooting. Whenever we felt tiring, the photographer made some jokes and made us smiled brightly.
On the photo selection day, we selected quite a number photos. The photographer also helped to give some ideas and guidance about photo selection. Wanted to clarify that he didn’t forced and sell the photos aside from the number of pictures covered in the package, he rather helped us to eliminate similar photos (with similar poses). We found so many great photos and have selected double of the number of pictures given.
My wife and I am really happy with the services provided by Cangai. We would not be able to comment whether they are the best, but we feel that they are experienced, reliable and comfortable bridal shop for pre-wedding photo shooting.
Just would like to share my experience about my pre-wedding photo shooting. I have made reference of much information from the forum and I guess now it would be the time to share in the forum too.
My wife and I have signed a pre-wedding photo package with a Taiwan based bridal shop named Cangai/ True Love during the bridal fair in March 2013. During the fair, we met one of the Cangai's in-charge, namely Pei Chen. She is a Taiwanese from Kaohsiung and we felt comfortable to express our expectation and needs to her. She shared important and useful tips about pre-wedding photo shooting. She was not hardcore selling and told us all costs and expenses for photo-shooting with no hidden costs. We have signed the pre-wedding photo package for photo shooting in Kenting and Singapore at a reasonable price as comparison to some of the bridal shops at the fair.
During the first visit to Cangai Singapore in Tanjong Pagar, a Taiwanese namely Jia Jia was assigned to handle my pre-wedding photo package. She is very friendly and discussed all the items to note and our concerns in details. Our concerns were written down and followed up. In addition, reminder calls were always given prior to any meeting and pre-wedding photo shooting.
Prior to photo shooting in Kaohsiung, we met up with the Taiwanese customer service, Mio for choosing gown and suit. The customer service was very professional and took note of the type of pre-wedding photos my wife wanted. At the end, my wife selected a few gowns she liked. We also met up with photographer, Evan for discussing about our expectation. Evan also jotted down our ideas and request in a booklet and we did not need to repeat again the next day.
On the day of photo-shooting, the make-up artist, Mango discussed the type of make-up with my wife. The make-up was amazing and was per my wife’s expectation. A team of Photographer, Make-up artist and Lighting engineer (Ah Yan) was accompanying us for photo-shooting (not sharing with other couples). They are very friendly and funny and enlighten the day of photo shooting. We felt that we had so much fun and enjoyed the day of photo-shooting. Whenever we felt tiring, the photographer made some jokes and made us smiled brightly.
On the photo selection day, we selected quite a number photos. The photographer also helped to give some ideas and guidance about photo selection. Wanted to clarify that he didn’t forced and sell the photos aside from the number of pictures covered in the package, he rather helped us to eliminate similar photos (with similar poses). We found so many great photos and have selected double of the number of pictures given.

Recommendation for Cang Ai Bridal
I would like to share my experience with Cang Ai as I find that their service is good and worth my recommendation.
We happened to take up Cang Ai bridal package on a wedding bow events at plaza singapura. The package include photoshoot in both taiwan and singapore.
During our photoshoot in both taiwan and singapore, we had 2 different photographers. Both of them are friendly and most importantly each of them have their own unique style of photoshooting. We had fun and had jokes during our photoshoots.
When we went to select and test the suit and gown, we took a long time as we couldnt decide which gown to choose. However, Cang Ai staff did not show us any attitude and instead calm us down and ask us to take our time.
Overall, the photo albums that they produce and the service that they provide are good and satifactory.

I am a BTB and I have just receive my photo-shoot album from Taiwan and I just had my gown chosen for my wedding in December 2013. I did my photo-shoot with CangAi and I just have to compliment them on their excellent services.
I first heard of CangAi from the wedding forums and met them at the wedding roadshow held at dhoby ghaut. Vicky who is the main person we contacted in CangAi Singapore; she is such a warm and chatty person! I trusted her recommendations a lot because she could tell that I was concerned about costs and the weather during the actual photo-shoot. Because of Vicky and the portfolio she showed me, I was convinced that I had to choose Vicky. Following the contract, Vicky also reminded me on her own to head down to CangAi for the briefing on the things to bring for the photo-shoot, where to stay that will be more convenient and cheap. She even printed maps and train lines in Taiwan for us! She is really someone I could relate to!
We love all the photos taken and had to top up a bit! But what to do...They are gorgeous!

For choosing of actual day gowns was a challenge to me. I wasn’t sure what kind of gowns I wanted. My friends who signed up with other bridal warned me to be fast as the bridal shop will only give you 1-2hours only. But to my surprise, Vicky was so patience with me, helping me tried so many gowns and finally confirmed everything after 2 days! I was given 2 days of total 6hours!!!
But after a week, I was still hesitating about 1 of the night gown that I’ve choose, therefore I phoned Vicky at CangAi and told her my concern. Without further ado, she told me to go down to CangAi and see the gowns again! Once again, she told me her point of view and start to help me try the gowns that I re-choose and I finally chosen the gown that I wanted! I can finally wait for my Wedding Day to come!
