i have to agree with you. i also like cang ai's service. they're not pushy like some other bridal studios. they're very accommodating and the service they offer you is really personal. i like their gowns too. mine was a simple white wedding gown but i find it really elegant.

We signed up with Cang Ai for our Taipei shoot at an expo at Vivocity and later visited their Tanjong Pagar shop. Their gowns are indeed better... in quality, design and variety. You'll have to see it for yourself. Really... go try out their gowns personally ... we visited 4 shops.... theirs are really nicer.
What is best... they have 80% of the same gowns in their Taiwan shops so one advantage is that you can try out the gowns here then they will let their Taiwan shop know the type of gowns you like and they will be prepared for your selection. That way, it removes the uncertainty of having to go Taiwan for the Pre-Shoot and choose gowns just one day before.
One thing the shop has confirmed. If anyone wish to take up my package (heavily negotiated) under my name, it counts as a referral and both parties will get 5 extra photos! Ok... I know competition gives 6pix... but this is not about pictures... but about gowns, service and photography skills.

cang ai bride here! my package with them includes AD too but the one without the photographer, but the package includes MUA, gowns, car decor, etc. For their PS, you can do it either in sg or in taiwan (if you chose taiwan, the flight & accomodation isn't included though). you can also choose whether to have an all outdoor shoot, all studio shoot or mixed. we chose the mixed one. you can try and visit them in tanjong pagar.

Overseas shoot is a luxury, of course... and in my opinion, totally unnecessary. It only works if you want something different from the Singapore scene and also take it as a short holiday. Then the extra cost of airfare, hotel...etc won't hurt as much.
In Taiwan, some of the costs is actually cheaper than in Singapore. The extra photos for example... Singapore is norm to cost around S$80 while in Taiwan, this ranges from S$40-S$65. Personally, at least from what I read and seen, Taiwan service also tend to be better and their photographers are more creative.
Having said that, there are many great places in Singapore to take pictures as well... and many foreign couples actually fly into Singapore to have their albums taken. So work out your priorities and budget, and decide which place is best for you.
Don't get too stressed over it... whatever your decision, there is no right or wrong one... you will most certainly look great in the photos.

Hi there , I just signed up pre wedding n AD with cang ai afew days ago , they have mention in 1-2 they will give me a call. I am also served by pei chen .
Btw how many days is required in TW for thw whole PS

My pre wedding is a 1 day photoshoot . But I am wondering:
1. when is the selection of gown done ? On actual photoshoot day in TW or prior to the Photoshoot day etc .
2. Pei chen explain with regards of the make up and our expectation we can share n discuss with the MUA and photographer . But is it on the PS day itself or also prior to it .
3. Selection of photos - after the PS , when will be our photos selection . On the day itself or ?
4. Is there any other additional costs ? Roughly how much to set aside etc
5. My packages if I required MUA to follow me have to top up $250. for your past exp isit necessary for MUA to follow us around ?
6.wedding album she mention takes about 3 months and shipping will be paid by us ...do you have any idea how much roughly it will cost.
7. As for deposit when we sign we paid 10% subsequently how is the payment like.
Any areas that I have to take note on the PS?

2) discussion of photo-shooting style and make up should be one day before. Probably it's the same day as gown selection. They will jot down your request and idea, and plan the photoshoot one day before.
3) photo-shooting day should be a long day. The photo selection shall be the next day after photo-shooting.
4) I remember you need to prepare transport cost for the driver and some makeup products that are not covered under the package. They will explain all to you before you go. They don't hide hidden costs from you. For my case, they repeated many times of the additional costs that will be incurred such as driver costs and makeup products.
5) Yes, your makeup artiste is very important. Please top up the monies coz they will help you to change your husband and yours' makeup and hairstyles along the journey. They can't bring you back to the bridal shop coz the destination take hours to reach.
6) I haven't taken mine but I remember shipping costs are about $200 - $300. I got friends who flied there and brought back themselves.
7) payment are on progressive. It usually require pay up to 85 % before photo-shooting. 10% ～ 15% will be paid when you receive album. Don't worry, I pay more and faster than payment schedule and they still service us very well. They appears very professional and you can talk to them if you don't feel comfortable to pay more.
8) I think most important things to note is weather. Try to avoid raining season for photo-shooting. Good weather will result in good photos as well. Please also be prepared your casual wears and items （道具）used for photo-shooting. Think about the style of photo-shooting you like... Cute, romantics, impressive or etc. Please also trust the photographer and be relax. Must enjoy the day of photo-shooting

hi guys! a cang ai bride here too. like the others, i'm pretty satisfied and happy with their service. the gown was beautiful and the guests kept commenting about how I look very blooming and natural-looking. I have the stylist and MUA to thank for that.
