Cang ai experience review
Hi BTB, would like to share my wonderful experience I had from Cang Ai wedding singapore.
My wedding is going to be on dec 2015 and I have recently started my bridal gown sourcing this May. Been to quite a few bridal shops but none of the gowns actually attracted me. Walked past Cang Ai and decided to walk in and give it a shot. Hana attended to me and I have to say, her costumer service is really top notch. I told her that I have already taken my pre wedding shoot in korea and only plan to look for AD gown packages and despite hearing this, Hana continue to serve me attentively. I have previously read reviews about other BS that once the BS know you have taken your pws elsewhere, they would be less interested or rather less attentive to you. I assume they probably earn more from pws than bridal packages? Anyway, Hana asked me for my preferences etc and started introducing me to different gowns. & best of all, she told me I can try them if I want to even without me asking. Instead of my previous experience from other BS where they will sit you and talk to you about packages first and only let you try maximum 2 to 3 gowns. I tried a total of 6 gowns and before we eventually sit down to talk about the packages. I told hana I will discuss with my husband and she gladly say no worries instead of showing me any attitude or 'black face'. She makes me feel so comfortable that when i went home, I told my husband that he should make a trip down to CA and I called Hana immediately to make an appointment to try the gown again although i did not sign any packages yet. At that point of time i am still deciding between 2 bridal studios and I thought it would be better if my husband can see the gowns Cang Ai has.
Today, we went down to Cang Ai again with the intention to only try two gowns since i have yet to sign their packages. Upon arrival, Hana greeted me with smiles and as usual, serve me with her top notch customer service. In addition, Hana suggest that i try more gowns since i am there and I tried a total of 10 gowns i think. Surprisingly although their shop may seems small and seems like they have very little selection as compare to other BS, they actually have a lot of hidden gems which I can never find at other BS. Tried on a particular gown which made my husband goes WOW, this is the one. And from there, we talk about the package and gotten ourselves a very good deal from Hana and BoBo.
In between my gown trying session, i actually get to engage with Bobo and Vicky and they are all so nice. I am really so glad i chose Cang Ai and thankful to have so many nice and knowledgable consultants around.

Read alot of good reviews about Cang Ai and went down to their shop. Amazed by their huge selection of dresses (no need to top up additional cost) but was informed this will change in 2016.
But what made us signed the package + AD with them is their service! Highly recommended

Cangai Pre-Wedding - Not too bad
Hi I have signed up for a pre-wedding photo shoot at Cangai. Mia is taking care of my account. Her service is good and prompt. But during fitting I suspect I was given limited gowns to try (as in she deliberately did not give me many options in order to spend less time). Their actual day and photo shoot gowns are different - it's usually the case for most bridal boutiques because the photo shoot gowns are altered several times, quality not as good as AD gowns and made for wear and tear. I really could not bring myself to wear their AD gowns as it's not my style - too princessy and not very updated design. I signed a package with Gowns Villa and would highly recommend it - VIP service and quality trendy gowns at a reasonable price.
Will be doing my pre-wedding shoot soon - they only have one photographer, Ken. MUA Regina Wong. I will update on my experience later.

Hi all btbs who are considering local and taiwan pre-wedding photography and AD.
I would recommend Cang-ai (although my shoot is only this coming October, will update my experience on a later date but i'm pleasant with their service thus far), Choosing a bridal studio is very important as you do not wish to pick the wrong one and it's best if someone recommended you or referred you over means they are good! They are many big companies out there yes but you do not know if they are good or not, what if they are not? It's too late to regret by the time you would had paid for it.
After visiting severals bridals shops I chose Cang-ai (Partially because I had good reviews from my brother whom signed with them last year for his wedding and now that it's over, he complimented and recommend me to his bridal shop). They do not hard-sell as much as some I visited who's desperately wanting to get your sales and you to sign on the spot which I felt more comfortable, after discussing the packages and some details, my kind coordinator picked a few gowns for me to try. As i try I browse their gowns selection and i felt that they have quite a number of selections which i won't be restricted when it comes to choosing gown and also that, you can pick ANYTHING from the rack without having to top up $$ (I know 1 of the Bridal studio requires you to top up $ for nicer gowns and the gown they gave you that is in package that you sign from them just looks ordinary. Crazy or what? sign package still need top up $ for nice gowns)
For taiwan bridal companies, I feel it's best if you signed with a BS that has a physical boutique in Singapore so it's easier to liaise and contact them if needed.
I signed pre-wedding in Taiwan and AD with them, and thus far I am very pleasant with my Coordinator Vicky, she has been very prompt and patient when it comes to replying my emails and queries. She also would advise me on my planning for my trip to Taiwan as i'm going for a holiday at the same time.
If any of you are keen to signed up with them you can kindly look for my coordinator Vicky and quote my name "Hui hui" and i'm sure she will be of good service to you and would offer better perks for you. :thumbsup:

I just took my photos in Taiwan Kaohsiung and Kenting. The people from Cangai at both Singapore and Taiwan end are wonderful! They are friendly and helpful and I have absolutely enjoyed my photo taking experience! Results of the photos are so good I can't help flipping through it over and over.
I will not hesitate to recommend Cangai to anyone who are looking for a good studio. =)

Alot of PG was on leave so he came over to KS and relief.

I would advise you to fly prior 1-2days before the date so it won't be so rush. I reached on the 11th October. Choose gowns on 13th, PS on 14th and choose photos on 15th. It was easy to locate the shop, not far away from Kindness Liu ho ye shi.
Gowns selection day.
Gowns selection took me about 4hours and htb only took only 30mins. Xiaoping was really patient with me while I was really picky of my gowns. Met up with the photographer ltrr in the evening at 8pm to discuss the flow for next day shoot and did some profiling of me and htb's character and personalities so he can prep himself.
(You'll only know who is your PG and MUA when choosing your gowns at Gao Shiung, to assign a designated PG, if i'm not wrong it's $500 or $700 SGD)
PS DAY.
Mua did a great job! I had lotsa compliments of my makeup and I really love it! I leave everything for her to decide, no pics or samples to request for, everything left it to her to decide. Photographer was very enthusiastic, taught & guided us how to pose and captures very nice photos!
+$5000 NTD paid to driver to 包 his car for the whole day
+ $360 NTD for fake eyelashes
+ xx for ampoules (i forgot how much)
I ended up buying 30 additional photos out of 290 that was taken that day because the photographer really captures nice photos and I can't bear eliminate them! Oh anyway no hard selling of photos by the coordinators.
Pleasant experience I would say.
Everyone from Cangai was very friendly and we both felt comfortable and welcomed. Lotsa laughter and fun we had during our shoot.
