Confused in preparing wedding (Any help is appreciated!)

Hi all.
I need a massive help here. Being the eldest in my family, my mum can't help me much on how to plan etc. Budget is a little tight hence can't hire a wedding planner. Can anyone help me ??

I don't plan to hold any celebration for ROM on Nov 2013, mainly because I wna save the money for my AD which is on Feb 2014. Hence, for ROM, we just plan to go sign, maybe a lunch at a restaurant for both of our families.


Problem #1
I will be having my pre-wedding photoshoot in Taiwan with NA.ZA on Oct 2013. Shooting takes 3days. We are planning to stay there for a week.
-Would it be possible to have them finish my album stuffs during my stay and I just upgrade my baggage weight to bring them back myself?

-If yes, how heavy would it be so I upgrade enough weight.




Problem #2
I don't know where to get my AD wedding gown, evening gown, KUA and men's suit from singapore. I don't wna spend on the courier fees to fly the gowns over. And also, I belong to the more plus size one (not sure wearing what UK size, but standing 1.55m tall, 80kilos :scared:)
-Any recommendations for me to get from singapore?

-How much ? (Budget:$1200)

My gatecrashing, tea ceremony and AD are on the same day. What are the things needed and where to get ? If possible, about how much??

Think that's about all, would appreciate if you all can help and additional infos are deeeeeply appreciated!

Hey babe, first of all congrats! i have not decided on my dates yet but should be 2014 but here's what i know so far.

Problem 1: I'm also going TW for my shoot, but with Ivy Bride. They told me when i sign up that they will only be able to give us the 30" canvas with frame in TW to bring back with us. the album will take a longer time, abt 3 month to complete and send over. courier fee for the album is usually abt $200. so i think it will be the same in your case.

Problem 2: One of my good friends is abt the same height as you but nearing 100kg, she went to seletar braodway (i think!) at ang mo kio ave 10. they offered her a mtm gown for her AD and rented her a simple dress for ROM. Think she is taking a pre-wedding photoshoot with them as well. I intend to approach them as I am plus size too, 163cm 85 kg, but just for AD. Think you can give them a try.

Problem 3 i haven't encounter so can't help...

1: I had my pictures taken in TW too! You have to check and ensure they can complete the set and fly them back to SIN before your Wedding, it will take some time before your pictures are ready, only things that you can bring back along with you might be the desktop photoframe.

2: did you book your package with a Bridal Studio in Taiwan? if yes, they should be providing you wedding gowns, you shuld nt be bring any gowns over. I had sign up with WhiteLink for my AD, they were nice to throw in the suit and ROM dress + makeup for me FOC. go for some wedding shows and see if their gowns catches your attention.

3. It depends on your dialect + religious, you can go to those wedding specialist store that sells all the Traditional wedding stuffs, they hav the Tea set and all. since you are the eldest, you have to make sure you prepare a big red packet for your siblings.

hi babyyweiting, i have sign up with na.za last early month. and had my shoot in nov 2012 just collect my photo one weeks ago. i stay there for one weeks .

first day . testing and fitting for grown
second day: whole day photo shooting
third day : choose pic, pjoto frame , they will edit the photo on the spot give u see .
then ask you to carry back the photo frame and unedit cd for you. (less than 7kg) to be hand carry up the plane cause all are made of glass.

then email here and there around 1-2 months

for my photo i ask they to ship in may 2013 . but they come early on april 2013 with my head bed frame and all the photo and photo album , pack nicely with all the bubble wrap without all damage . pay approx change at $140 plus only . good service .

overall the services is good:)
