Hotel Banquet Booking

Hi, anyone knows how early should i confirm the booking of hotel banquet before the wedding date? And do i need to pay the full amount at the booking or after the banquet?

i think you should make a reservation on the hotel maybe a month or two before your wedding and about the payment, i guess it depends on the hotel that you're going with. there are some hotels that accept installment payments.

You should make a booking with your desired hotel once you finalised your wedding date. I have made mine in August this year while my wedding is on Sept 2014...

i booked my Jan 2015 hotel banquet last month. 1 year 3 mths in advance. it's very normal for people to book hotel banquet 1 year in advance.

Hmmm...the thing is do you have a particular reason to wait till the last couple of months for the booking? What if the place you want is not available?

me too. i plan to have a booking in a hotel 8 months before our wedding. i'm still looking for a hotel though. can you suggest some good hotels?

1year maybe. I heard don't have to pay full amount. Just deposit for some hotel.

in the deposit, do you need to pay half of the full amount or can you set the amount that you can pay?

Normally the deposit amount is set by the hotel. You can check with your hotel
