hello jazed.

infact im just like u. totally clueless.

all i know about rom and customary and dinner is so vague. i google around. check with friends who are already married. check with them hotels, reviews and personal experience.

some give good reviews while some dont. i think it kinda really boils down to individual to what you expect from the hotel and the service.

for me, i am almost ready to sign up my dinner package with park royal. i told my band of sisters about my hotel location and some gave me bad reviews. even friends. but the events lady i liaise with really gives me the service, attitude and prompt response i expect. however, my standard of good does not apply to everyone else. it really depends on individual.

also, i suppose perfectweddings.sg and singaporebrides.com helps in many ways. becuase of the different replies, experience and response from fellow forum members, i believe you can gather some info.

for example, i attended a wedding dinner at HOLIDAY INN ATRIUM recently in late october 2012. husband and i was satisfied with the food. however, when i told and checked with my friend (the bride), she told me NOT to sign up with them as the service was really bad :(
