Have anyone tried InterCon? The price is rather expensive comparable to other hotels. I booking it for 23 march 2013 for 40 tables. is the food & the service good. The hotel looks a bit ran down when i visit the ballroom recently. :)

i find the ballroom very nice with high ceiling. The food portion is big and nice and service is good too mostly importantly they give away good perks. I recommend this hotel, thumb up :)

Erm not perks i think the usual ones that are stated in the contract. I got a 10 pax free buffet dinner at olive tree on my ROM day

Inkfaces: who is your coordinator? I have asked for their packages and the booking of room for solemnisation and I was quoted $5000.00++! The reply was unfriendly too. Heard the food and ambience is good but now with the unfriendly replies and exp quotations, I am having second thoughts. :(

Is really expensive ya. I did mine at the ROM so save the cost. But what type of package did they give you for the solem?

hi everyone, i booked intercon for my wedding in jun13. the service from coordinator so far was great, planning to do rom at the open area outside the ballroom-foc!

I'm a 2013 btb and have booked InterCon too. Love their rectangular ballroom with the straight long aisle and pretty chandeliers on its high ceiling! My coordinator was Jarls and she's very nice!

My coordinator was jarls too, but was change to Fion. Was told that jarls move to other department. Please check with them ya. Just went for the food tasting. Twice...! First time the food was disappointing, none of the food impress. No Wow! delicious!. So we wanted a second time. Initially was told to pay the cost for 2nd time. Fion is probably new and can't make much decision. I told her to talk to her manager. Chef call up and agree that I shouldn't pay. 2nd time was much more better. Food recommended. Prawns in salted egg, smoke fragrance duck with tea leaf are great. Both not inside the menu. Manage to get 2 bottles wine corkage wavier for each table.

Btw my wedding is just next 2 weeks. If u need more info please let me know. Table seatings and my food tasting menu can be share to u.

I tried their western menu for a dinner there and it was pretty good. the ballroom is very pretty too.

Hi BTB,

I have booked a weding package with Intercontinental last year for a dinner banquet to be held on 27 September 2013 (auspicious date). There were many good perks like 2 nights at bridal suite, corkage waiver for own wines and hard liquors, etc.
However, cos of personal reasons, I have to let it go =(
and I'm looking for interested couples to take over from me.
