Is it ok to invite ex to wedding?

I wouldn't to avoid all the potential trouble. Besides, it would be awkward when your relatives see your ex and they are able to recognise him. Don't think HTB will feel comfortable with that.

I think the first question is if your other half wants to invite his very attractive/single ex who is very much still in love with him to YOUR wedding, How would you feel about it? And what if she upstages you at your own wedding?

What if his ex looks like them?

It's totally depends on the mentality of your ex. If she/he is jealous then, its better not to invite him/her. Otherwise, you should surely invite your ex.
