I thought the photographers should be experienced to bring us to the different shoot venues.
So you mean we still got to do research on their behalf?
Hi Jenna,
As diff couples have diff expectations on the type of photos, scenic views and feel of photos, naturally couples should do their own research and let the PG know where to go. Before my PG, i got to meet kenny and discuss where we were thinking about going, the kinds of shots we wanted etc and he actually told us that our selected outfits for outdoor might not be suitable and actually got our coordinator to agree to help change our outfits as we were v v keen on our outdoor shots even tho the seamstress had already made the alterations to the original set. Also, for our 3rd venue, we wanted sunset shots but were also thinking if we could go to East Coast Park as that place holds special memories and Kenny told us for the timing we were there, East Coast would not be suitable and give suggestions on where else we can go if we really wanted sunset shots. So actually if you know what's your style, you can speak to him and discuss and he'll give suggestions on what feel is suitable for that kind of location, what kind of gowns and if you're unsure where in Sg has such views, i'm sure he'll be able to recommend. Believe La Belle isn't the only one that asks couples doing local shoots to let them know of venues so couples can take shots in place that they want and may hold special meaning (places they met, places he proposed etc).
So far my experience with La Belle is on the whole satisfactory. Sometimes HTB and I werent v happy with certain things but I find that they are generally accomodating and willing to suit our demands, just that you may at times need to be firm with them on your expectations. Have to be fair to La Belle; while they're not perfect, I can't say they're horrible and that I'm on the whole still pretty happy with their service.
