review for service / food @ park royal beach road?

after some discussion, husband and i decided to hold a simple dinner @ park royal beach road next year.

any reviews? on food and service?

i understand from the events AM that majority of their banquet servers have been with them for at least 3years and above.

Park Royal @ Beach Road

Not sure if this is the place I could write about this.

Well, understanding that we couples should bear responsibility of contract stated. But i believe management could be slightly flexible and handling on case to case basis.

we signed a dinner package with PARK ROYAL @ BEACH ROAD late last year. we had to call off the dinner due to family financial issues with member diagnosed with cancer and no insurance. even after deducting all the medisave we could, we still have a huge mountain of outstanding in cash.

we tried explaining BUT my sales manager insisted she tried to explain to the management (her boss) and even the accounts say cannot transfer. sigh. so we had to forfeit the deposit since it was NOT transferable and we could not sell to anyone else:(

despite the food having good reviews or at least not bad reviews.

btb / brides, how would you handle such a situation :bored:

infact, we agreed on the spot after meeting the sales manager for the first time, just that we were waiting for the contract to be drafted before making payments.

:unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure::(:(:(:(:unsure::unsure::unsure::(:(:(:(

You may want to take the issue with their higher management. It seems that their inflexibility is ridiculous.

Feel sorry for you though. At least now everyone knows that how inflexible they are. I think this might be applicable to the Pickering and Kitchener too.

Hi, Any bride has sign their 2014 package ? Care to Share? chenpeiru85@gmail.com

Hi there!

have sent the package to your email! :) I'm planning to sign with them for my wedding in jan 2014 but the new ballroom is not done yet so only have artiste impressions for now. According to the sales manager, they do not have any wedding favours or themes for our consideration until their launch in late june. Hope this helps!

do hop over to my wedding blog at
