Hi everyone,
I'm holding my wedding at Rasa Sentosa at Siloso ballroom but I'm wondering if the ceiling is too low and the layout too longish?
I know that they do have a beach wedding option.
Anyone attended a wedding at Siloso ballroom?

hi, i really like the image of the outdoor ceremony shown on rasa sentosa's page.. but do you know if they provide a contingency plan should it rain? i know there should normally be somewhere indoors to transfer to.. but im worried the indoor venue will be a far cry from the original outdoor mood setting..
They assured me that if it rains on my outdoor solemnization they will bring it indoors, to the foyer just outside the Horizon Ballroom. I'm not sure if this is the same for the other ballrooms because I booked the Horizon Ballroom anyway so it comes with the foyer area for the pre-event cocktail reception.
Hi Daphne, you can negotiate with them. (NEVER take a wedding package as is, always try and negotiate) We negotiated for minimum 25 tables because we're opting for a buffet set up anyway and this will require space. The Event Manager is a really nice lady so don't hesitate to let her know your concerns and try to work it out with her.

I just went to view the Horizon Pavilion and I love how bright & cheery the ballroom is, since my wedding is going to be a lunch! My photographer advised not to get the ballroom though because the bright backlight means that he has to use flash and using flash means the background (i.e. my guests) will look really dark! Is it really the case? Has anyone held a lunch wedding at the Horizon Pavilion? Can share some of your photos with me (hopefully to prove my photographer wrong) please?
i'm also considering rasa and most likely if i take, i will go for the siloso ballroom because my fiance prefers the private reception area, as compared to the horizon pavillion. he says the reception will not be that private because it is next to the bar and there will be guest there as well. i think if hold lunch, the lighting might be an issue. then again, it also depend on the lighting of the ballroom itself. i'm not a expert in photography so if your photographer thinks so, should be correct right?
i read somewhere that rasa food sucks? i scared i booked then only realised the food not nice on the tasting. damn sad.
