Dear BTBs,
Just wanted to share my experience with Rico-A-Mona.
Like most of BTBs, I went through the stretch of bridal boutiques along Tanjong Pagar, Delphi etc.. I went on a weekday and got very prompt service from the bridal boutiques. It took me 3 weeks to consider the bridal boutiques and i opted for Rico and am pleased for a few reasons.
1. Service
My co-ordinators were Sinny and Jace and both of them were very helpful and patient. When i was looking around for bridal packages, they were not pushy and was sincere. From gown selection, photoshoot and final fitting, they had excellent attitude. They were forthcoming in providing their genuine feedback (whether gown suited me or not) and they brought out many gowns for me to try until i was comfortable. When i couldn't find a teadress which i really liked, Sinny was quick to improvise, she mixed and matched a dress and a laced add-on, the tea dress turned out to be so beautiful. For my wedding gown, i wanted extra crystal and i bought my own crystals for them to be sewn on.
2. Gown Selection
I would say the wedding gown selection was extensive and they don't segregate into (standard/ premium catergories). Their gowns are beautiful and looks new. Give your co-ordinator an idea of what you want, and they will most likely be able to find you something! In terms of evening gowns, i wouldn't say they have a wide selection, i would say i had more choice for the wedding gowns rather than evening gowns.
3. Package
I wanted a rather standard package, and my budget was no more than 4k. The package that i had was standard PS + AD. Throughout the experience, i did not once feel being pressurised into making a decision (package selection, photos selection etc.) The price was also reasonable as compared to the rest of the bridal boutiques.
Areas of Improvement:
- Evening gown selection ( not much selection as compared to wedding gown)
- Indoor shoot ( not much decor, in the end we didn't pick many indoor shoot photos)
- Photo editing ( photo editing can be improved, but just ask them to amend if you're uncomfortable)
If you want something fuss- free, i would say Rico is great! Look for Sinny (she has got quite a lot of ideas when it comes to gown selection). Of course being BTBs, you have to do your part and try not to become bridezilla. Do your part by clarifying on the next steps, what to bring on PS etc. and ask questions when you're not sure.
Good luck!
