I think the best season to go is in March or April.
I signed up last yr at Suntec with Cannes Wedding. The bridal studio is in Keelung, very near to Yeliu (know as the Queen Head). I was considering between Judy Weddings and Cannes but i felt they were more sincre n genuine in their service so i opt for them. For those who are thinking of a photoshoot in Taiwan, its best to negotiate for hotel stay to be included in e package:)

Any one know the courier charges to transport the stuff back?

hi iamblackwitch, they would need time to edit your photos so you won't be able to take back the albums. usually you would be able to take back the big photo frame on the 5th day. you can try to ask them to help you bring back the albums if they are coming to sg for wedding fair.

Hi all,

I just signed up with France Paris taiwan too. Anyone is back from PS already? Care to share?

Hi Kathleen

I am with them too and back from there, I took my PS 1st week of Mar-11.

My Coordinator is Ms De Ying
My Photographer is Mr Joe
My Photographer Assistant is Ms Abi/Avi (not sure how to spell her name =P)
My MUA is Ms Miao Ling
My Driver is Mr Xiao Ming

From the output I got from them, they are professional and nice.

Coordinator are easy going and approachable. You can discuss with her what you need and even not related to the PS ... like what food will she recommend to go ...

She even treat us taiwanese food like hua zhi geng ... but becos my hubby and me don't eat squids, so din really like it. =P

Joe is a funny photograph, he really have his own thinking of capturing the photographs which turn out nice. We are quite satisfied with his style but maybe bcos Taiwan and Singapore photograhy is slightly different, so may be feeling hmm weird ...

As for Abi/Avi, she is very helpful. She help me with my gown, holding my jacket for me and quickly cover me as the weather there was super cold.

Miao Ling has a pair of super hands, she do makeup and hairstyling for me. And everytime the style is different and I love them. She is very caring ... she even say 幸苦你了, lend me her thick shawl, ask me to hold on to the hair dryer to blow myself with the hot air to keep myself warm. She even bought us ginger drink to keep us warm. So nice of her ...

Xiao Ming looks rather fierce but a nice uncle. I brought a super thin jacket to taiwan and during a photography under 10 degree temperature, he offered me his thick and warm jacket though that is the only thick jacket he has.

Tips for you
Try to bring little stuff to Taiwan as you need to bring back some of the bridal stuff ...
Bring thick jacket, long sleeve tops or thick tops, jeans or thick long socks, covered shoes ...

Hope that helps ... :)

Wow Astutekitty, thanks for the great review! Their service is really good from the way you described! I heard that had a wedding roadshow late last year. Do you happen to know if they will have any roadshow this year? Can't seem to find their shop in SG.

Hi Caroline

There are some hiccups here and there but I know they also don't want that to happen or just human errors. Beside that, they are really good. You can consider them ^^.

I signed up with them when I walked passed their booth heading to Blue Bay at Suntec City. Then one of the guy approach us and said take alook at our booth :), so we are thinking since we planning our wedding, mine as well see what other pple offer, so that we can "bargain" from Blue Bay =P.

After spending about 3 hours chit chatting with them (no pushy feeling), we are attracted to their price first ... then they showed us their photographs ... then finally we signed up and give up Blue Bay (as I am trying to contact Blue Bay SG for months but no one replied to us, thats why we head down to Suntec to know more).

They have no SG branch here yet ... properly in future but don noe when.

Before going down to such bridal fair, do check what bridal shop offer or what others offer, and also know what you need, so that you can bargain from them ...

I did my homework before I go for the fair and that impressed them ... hee hee

This will also indirectly tell them that "hey, I got do homework, so don't smoke me" hee hee =P

Hope that helps you ... ^^

Hi Kathleen

I heard that Oct will be turning winter? :scared: No? I remember when choosing the months for photoshoot, I was thinking if it is super cold, how can I smile naturally? :eek:hmy:

Hence, we decided to change our initial plan from November to March (Going to be Spring). But when I got there, it was about 15 degree ... still alright ... and I am wearing knitted short sleeve top.

On the second day, it is drizzling.

And on the actual photographing day, oh no ... its about 10 degree :eek:hmy: but at least its not drizzling or raining ...

After my shoot the following day, its sunny day about 22 degree -.- and that is the day I saw the only "sun" in the 8 days in Taiwan.

Actually, I don't really know where we went for photographing as they just drive and stop ... what I know are Yang Ming Shan, some shoppinng area near Taipei 101 ...

My coordinator is Ms De Ying ...

We brought back some the freebies that they offered when signing the package but without photographs. The items includes photo frames, "Mo Tian Lun" etc ...

Please prepare a big luggage to put all these ... you will also be bringing back your poster and bedroom photo portraints with frame ...

Yes, there are like ampoule lotion when you used for your makeup, transportation as well as adding extra pictures ... they accept credit cards but not the transporation, as they accept only cash ... and also the courier for the photographs and album, not yet received but expected to pay about SGD$200 ++ :(
