Hi babes! I have just gone for my taiwan PS with Mikan Bridal and I totally enjoy the PS session.. The photographer is a funny dude that makes us laugh non stop.. while the MAU is.. world class^^ You can check them out if you chance upon them on SG road show

It is a 4 storey building with indoor studio if u require. Frankly speaking, the gowns are pretty limited on the 2nd level but upon signing the package, u can negotiate with them to allow access to choose from the VIP Section at Section 3 too.

I also negotiated with them for Free Rental of 3 sets of gowns and 1 set tuxedo for my actual wedding and i only have to pay the laundry charges. They will be paying for the courier fees. However, i didnt asked for it in the end cause i custom made all my gowns. Overall its a memorable experience at Cannes Wedding as i could feel their genuine spirit towards their customers. A complete service follow up to me is so far the most important.

Hi! I'm a Cannes BTB too. Going for phototaking next year in June. Who is ur MUA and Photographer? Are there alot of gowns to choose from?

Hi Clara Tan, congrats on ur upcoming wedding!

My MUA was Xiao Pan. she's a humble and sweet lady who has a good knowledge on the latest make up styles and colours. Very reliable and able to suit ur requirements. My photographer was Qiu Sir...if im not wrong he is in Italy now. Not sure, but can confirm with Cannes.

Regarding the gowns, it doesnt really help to select online cause there are so much more gowns they dont display there...you shd go to choose from their studio. Still pretty okay, at least i found those i like. Some are very "taiwanese" haha...but i love their white gowns. Very nice!

Well, 1 thing i have to comment is their photo editing skills. Its not up to my standard. What i did was to give them samples to follow...

Anyone heard of Vivi bride? They had another branch in JB KSL too. Their photos are really pretty but I cannot find much review on it. I came across it in a roadshow at heartland mall. Any BTB from Vivi here?

Anyone can recommend tw bs that are based in taichung or gaoxiong? heard that tw bridal shops there have much cheaper packages compared to those in taipei and those with a local branch like cangai, blue bay and julia... Not sure how to go about looking for those bridal shops and see their portfolios also...

go to verywed.com.tw there are post on photos, price, total expenses of these bridal.

Hmm...I went to Mikan for my photoshoot and I would say the experience wasn't a very pleasant one. I felt very insulted by the comments of the photographer just because we refused to purchase the ampoule from them. To be honest, I think my photographer really lack the professionalism in terms of how they interact with the clients. In addition, do not be hoodwinked by all the nice pictures that you see on TW bridal shops websites as usually, you will need to pay additional entrance fees to take those pictures.

Normally how much will the entrance fees cost up to?
I know of people signing package at $2k plus but end up paying another $2k for various add on, is there so much misc?
For the ampoule, do you know what brand they use?

It varies from $50 to more than $100? In addition, if you need to use props, there'll be additional charges and of course, there is transportation charges as well. Transpportation will be an additional $200 for around 8 hours.

For the ampoule, I don't know what brand they use....but they were charging for around $20 to $30 per ampoule.

Thanks messygal000, do you know the price for courier the items back to sg?
When I ask them during roadshow, they quote around $100. Is it true?

Anyone sign with Vivi bride or heard of them. My HTB and I fall in love with the photos they show us during roadshow. The effect is pretty magazine. However there are no review in Singapore about them.

Its not a silly question. most likely the packages will not include air tix. will depends very much so make sure you find out from the one you going to sign up got include air tix and accommodation or not.

as for mine, my package does include air tix but will be on their choice which we decided not to include in our package so they deduct out from our package. so we take up their package with accommodation and they also help me to do extension of the hotel. I also heard from others that their BS also help them to book if they want la.

Most package does not include air tix. However some do provide 2~3days accommodation for you. It depend how to you nego with them. Try to get what you want instead of thing that you do not need. For example, we changes most our freebies like ferris wheel, thank you card, marriage cert, signature scroll and VIP invitation card to additional 10 poses and 1 more day of accommodation and more discount. Certain thing we do not need due to the culture different between taiwan & sg.

Anyone heard of 辛辛克萊(clair wedding)? I just signed a packaged with them, at least I am very worried as I never heard of them before as Natas fair is their 3rd time coming to SG. After doing some online research on verywed and facebook, there are many couples in taiwan engage them for PS and their service is good and not pushy. Furthermore they had very good photographers that will discuss with you to understand what kind of style you want for your album. I am looking forward to my PS next June. Any brides from there?
