Generally, anything about VS2 is considered eyeclean. Meaning to say, without a scope or magnifying lens, it would be difficult to see the inclusions using our naked eyes. However, this being said, it depends on where and type of inclusions are. Some people (but this is very rare) are still able to see inclusions with the Naked Eye at VS2 level. If you want to play safe, go for a minimum of VS1.
If your girlfriend is the type who would be particular about clarity and wants a perfect stone, and she would use scopes/magnifying lens to see, I would suggest a VVS2 minimum.
At the end of the day, it depends on the type of gal you have. How savvy she is about diamonds. Is she into the technical specs. Does she want quality. Does she want size over quality. Does she care about the brand or shop of where the diamonds/ring come from.

thank you for sharing though, so now I know I'm not very particular bout clarity...I've got friends who got theirs from cartier/tiff & co, but it's not sparkly
I just want my diamond to be super-bling, so...definitely quality 1st follow on by size later

Gotten mine from JannPaul too! Was comparing their Super Ideal and Solasfera range, in the end I went for the 0.72 e vs2 Super Ideal.. prefer chunkier sparkles and personally I don't see any differences in the vs1 and vvs2
Perhaps I'll upload the diamonds images later..

I got their Solasfera range! Love the fact that it's 10 Heart & 10 Arrows. David also mentioned that Solasfera is a 100% light return diamond with 0% light leakages, did alittle bit of research on myself as well for Solasfera Diamond, it's backed with different reports and my SO loved it!

Nice! I avoided side diamonds ring settings because I'm afraid it would look too complicated on my finger, decided to go for a clean tension setting in the end whereby I can see the whole diamond.
Was told I can change the ring setting in future if I do get bored of it after awhile haha
But I think I'll just get my SO to buy me another one during our anniversaries :laugh:

I got this ring setting, concept would be the same as yours, clean and simple but I don't think my SO will like a tension setting, too adventurous for her ahaah
Just spent for the engagement ring and SO is already asking bout wedding bands, not forgetting hotel banquet and ETC.
now need to start scouting wedding bands... wedding banquet... wedding photoshoot... wedding honeymoon...

Im a JannPaul Bride for proposal ring and I think the reason as to why most of us went to them is due to Good Service, Explanation provided by them and for a lower $, we can get a slighter bigger or graded ring. (Correct me if Im wrong) or they wanted certain unique designs which they can't find it off the rack from the main Jewellers. But it largely depends on individual. Some of the more popular ranges among main jewellers are Soo Kee Brilliant Rose, Lee Hwa Destinee, Gold Heart Celestial, Love and Co, SK True Love. Keep your options open and do read up reviews on various forums. I did my research before I went to JP and I'm happy with the end product although its not like those branded ones.

I went for a appointment during lunch time, learnt alot on diamonds
their explanations are really detailed... am more or less confirm on getting my diamond ring from them, but not enough time to see the different ring designs that they offered, will go back on another lunch break...
