Wedding Ring

Hi! Just wondering where I can go to design my own wedding ring? Any clues?

I highly recommend The Jewel Box Private Jewellers at Shaw Centre. Their service is highly commendable. The owners were there to really assist me. Aside from the good value and quality of my customised ring, its the customer experience that really counts the most.

Finally I got the ring from JannPaul and proposed to my wtb. The end product is magnificent. When the Solasfera was fitted on the setting, the diamond look so big and shine! I really gotta thank Samuel from JannPaul for me. My WTB was so glad and happy when she got the ring and our friends also commented that its really shiny! Even her colleagues also said so! Highly recommend for solasfera~

Thanks Sam from JannPaul! :)

Wow...such a gorgeous ring! Do you mind sharing how much does it cost? Thanks!!

Hi anybody gone to pte jewelers for proposal rings? I would like to find out how do you polish your diamonds? Coz like lee Hwa, you can go there to clean or polish your diamonds. And also if you need to alter, would there be a problem?

You can also try eClarity (http://www.eclarity.com.sg/). My fiance bought my proposal ring from them. Great services and able to customize too! We are thinking of getting our wedding bands from them as well. They seem pretty flexible with the wedding bands designs e.g. we can choose a particular design we like but get them to customize the material of the ring, i.e. matte or gloss surface and the ring fit as well.

If you need to alter the ring size, it is possible for them to do it up to 2 ring sizes at no cost, i.e. +/- 2 sizes. As for polishing, you can bring the diamond ring back to them every year and they will do the necessary for you (typically takes about 1 - 2 weeks I guess?).

Hi

Anyone care to compare in terms of prices and variety of designs of the pte jeweller mentioned? I.e. eclarity,JP, jewelbox?

Went to jewellery shops, but none caught my eyes. So husband and I thot of custom making, a friend who just got engaged refer us to thejewelbox. They make one of each design only, no repeat.

That time, I just described what we want (had 3 different design of photos for reference), gave them our budget, they source the stones, then they redesign and do the setting for us. I thot custom would be very tedious but they’re very helpful and made it easy.

Cannot compare to eclarity and JP cz never tried them, but I guess they have design templates ready.

I'm also looking at Tiffany and co. Would you ladies choose a simple band or one with diamonds? Will the diamonds outshine the solitaire?

i think it's really a personal preference thing. i've done diamond shopping with my girlfriends instead of my HTB cus' they tend to give u more pressure when u are with ur other half~ best is to go into different shops and try out all sorts of design and setting and see which one u prefer. once u have decided on that, head down with ur HTB to let him know what type u really want since some shops don't allow photography.

i've picked one with side diamonds cus' it really suits me more than a simple one (i find it too plain for my liking). even my gfs and HTB said so. it's strange how the same plain design ring looks nice on one of my gf's fingers yet don't look good on mine! find one that u have the "feel" with. hehe. happy diamond shopping!
