Where to buy wedding shoes?

the kua u have to change after the tea ceremony at your hubby's house. change before going back to your house for the tea ceremony.

I will be taking half day leave later to do my stuffs. And i foresee that I will have abit of extra time. So, I'm going to hunt for my bridal shoes later. I hope I will be able to get something.

The other day i went anna nucci at Far East. The auntee very hard-sell leh! I feel not very comfy, and moreover their shop closing soon. So, i just glance thru, and didnt really get to spend time to pick.

So.... I think later (if i got time), i shall go Sinderella 1st. And the 2nd place will be anna nucci (if i REEEALY got time). hahas...

the other time i went far east the lady also quite pushy but i bought both pairs from jurong pt branch. the sales girl there more friendly.

Yea lo. Even if i wanna buy from anna nucci, i will not want to go back to Far East lah.

I saw one pair, she let me try. Say it looks nice on me, say left with one pair, say if i dont buy it will be gone by tomorrow, say got many people wedding & etc.

But that pair that she's trying to ask me to buy.... i spotted a few pieces of blings dropped off liao. Den she say i see wrongly wo. Hahahas...

Anyway, Sinderella 1st, then... anna nucci. Anna nucci got outlet at Jurong Point, HarbourFront, 313@Somerset and Far East. I can still go other outlet.

hahaha... she use the same tactic on me too! she say this is the last pair. if it is the last pair, i will not buy cos many people try on it already. i ask her other outlets have or not and she tell me no more but when i walk to 313 on the same day, they have! but i still didn't buy it on that day. bought it few days later from jurong pt branch.

whoa the far east anna nucci aunty so bad ah!!! i went to the harbourfront one to check it out, loved it! the heels are very comfy.. but i noticed that some of the heels in the shop have been there for very long, so the glue that sticks the bling ot the shoes actually turned yellow ler. i wonder if we can preventt that from happening to the heels we buy? I have yet to purchase mine coz i'm waiting to see if there will be any new collections coming in.. and i want to choose my evening gown first.. hopefully 1 pair would be able to match both gowns ^_^

i feel the harbourfront heels are there for ages. haha... jurong pt branch always many people go and buy everytime i went there to see. both my pairs i bought from jurong pt. i QC very thoroughly when i buy the shoes to make sure everything swee swee. i think silver heels match most of the gowns and also kua so silver colour is the best.

I went Sinderella at The Wedding Mansion yesterday. I love the design. Classic. But I dont know why the color of the shoes are like... erm... not totally white. It looks abit kinda "dirty-ish", sorta... "yellow-ish" on the white despite the lady show me the new pair.

Other than the color tone problem, the design that i wanted is 4 inch heel. And this is really too high for me. Also, the sizes available in their store didnt fit me well. So, the lady say i have no choice, because the stock is very limited. The only choice is to Make-To-Measure <That cost additional S$50! *Urgh!*>, which most of their customer do.

I didn't make any decision. I just walked away with my messy thoughts. Because i really dun feel comfortable of paying another S$50 for my shoes which already cost S$129 that is being displayed on the rack. I need to think properly loh. Over budget leh.

And then, i went Leapin Lizard for a quick look. The shop is rather messy. But they have hell lotsa design. But all Made-To-Measure. I simply pick one simple design, and ask "how much is this?". The sales attendant tells me "Oh! THis one, Made-To-Measure cost S$350".

My HTB open his mouth real big when he heard the price.

Haisss... Conclusion : I didn't get anything last night :(

anniesfaith, that is funny! jokes in the morning to brighten up my day! LOL... i think u should really go anna nucci see the shoes. they have lower heels with 2.5" to 5" heels.

I went anna nucci once (at far east). I like it too. I did put anna nucci under consideration lah.

Seriously, i feel that the design at anna nucci is more modern than those at Leapin Lizard and Sinderella, which they are more on classic design.

I'm a person who look at classic design. Sighh! I hate myself!

Now im wondering if i should go Loe and Behold, in which, i think... they are another Made-To-Measure "carrot-cake-chopper" cobbler. Sighh!

hahahaha.... if u gonna wear the shoe after your wedding as working shoe or for some function, then it will be worth it to custom make it to something u like and feel comfortable with. for me, anna nucci shoes are comfy for me and the silver shoes i bought can wear to work and for functions. just that the white pair will be of no use after my shoot so i will be selling it away. anyway, nobody can see your shoes with your long gown covering it.

Seriously, because of my shoes... I'm very messy now. I don't seems to have a choice leh! :(
We are living in such small country, with soooo limited choice :-

1. Loe and Behold (Made-To-Measure)
2. Leapin Lizard (Made-To-Measure)
3. Anna Nucci (On the rack)
4. Sinderella (Kinda being forced to go for Made-To-Measure)

Use one hand can count all the shops liao. So pathetic leh!!!!

LOL.... initially i also want to buy super nice and super bling shoes then i realise the gown is long and nobody can see so just get any pair i like and i feel comfy wearing it. since u feel that u will not be happy wearing the heels that you don't fancy, then just MTM to make you happy for your wedding :D

Womens are very capable to create a thousands of reason why they need that pair of new shoes, shawl, bag, dress & whatever that is being displayed on the shelf.

When you want to buy it, you tell yourself "It's useful! I'm gonna use it for this, for that, for future & bla bla bla...."

So, after you bought it, u used it for once and maybe twice. And that pair of poor shoes are being kept soooooo well on the rack and help you to collect dust. When the dust is about an inch thick, you tell yourself "nah! it's dirty already. and im not wearing it often. the heels are not in good condition (even tho it is still in perfect condition) & etc reasons... "

And the next thing is... you will try to convince yourself to find a new space for your pair of new shoes that you're going to buy soon.

Well... I'm just grumbling about myself. You guys could ignore me. Hahahas..
