Hi All BTB,

I would like to know whether anyone of you have encounter similar situation when there are couple who are keen to take over your wedding banquet and the hotel banquet manager said that transfer is not allowed.
?

I have done a research that there are couple from 'the same hotel' selling too but their package is approved and 'sold' to another couple.

Why is tat so? Is it becos of the resons given is not the same?

Or is it that I must write in again to negotiate or show proof of reports in Straits Time that it's proven that such transfer are allowed? The hotel is not losing revenue as it's only just a change of name tat all....

Hope those who have similar experience can share here. Thanks

Yes. It depends upon the policies of the banquet/hotel/restaurant and the terms presented in your contract.

I think its because the Hotel need to do the additional administration of re-negotiating the deal, signing the contract, etc. One way is for Hotels to levy an admin fee for transfer for genuine cases, much like what airlines do.
