i've signed up with z wedding about 1 year ago. have completed most of the things - choose gown, preshoot, makeup trial, collect album etc. now only left with ad. to me, this company is overrated. the only good thing is their quality photographer (mine was samuel) and friendly album coordinator who was not pushy (eunice). i really liked the photo album and photos taken.
i guess i'm the unlucky one who has experienced more bad than the good stuffs.
1) was assigned a freelance mua for my preshoot as zwedding's one was sick (they called on the preshoot morning itself to inform us of that) the freelance mua was soso and she talked ALOT. initially i thought she was being friendly and expected her to concentrate more on my makeup than talking once we settled, but throughout the different styles, she kept chit chatting. secondly, her hairstyles were absolutely out of date and i really disliked it. i did show her some styles which i wanted, she said that her styles would be similar, but it was totally not.
2) hair trial session with mua vincent. firstly, he was late for almost an hour. i waited at the shop for 30mins and i bth, so i went out to run some errands first. the other staff did call him, but they used the excuse that there was traffic jam, customer had night shoot etc etc. when i was back at the shop, vincent was not apologetic at all. and his attitude during the trial was quite half hearted. showed him some of the pics i wanted but the outcome was horrendous. especially for the long hair styles (non-up do). was quite disappointed with his skills and overall attitude. to think that all the staff there praise him cos he's "senior". (maybe customers to be should get the junior ones)
3) arrangement of ad makeup. absolutely pissed off with this because have been trying to confirm a time since 1 month ago, and they still have not given me a confirmation. (btb i'm sure u know how frustrating this can be!! it holds back the ad planning - which is the utmost impt for ad!!! goodness...) their excuse is they have other customers that clash with my timing etc etc. before we signed the package, they have the cheek to boast how many mua they have blah blah. now only for 1 sat morning, they cant find a single one?? and worst still, they ask me to change my timings - start earlier or groom arrive later (wth!!) i as the customer have to suit their timing? is this a joke or what. and the funny thing is, this mua artist's skills is so good, he only need 45min- 1hr for my morning makeup+hair. my other friends so far who had other mua did at least 1.5hrs-2hrs. maybe they are more interested in being more cost efficient than ensuring their customers look good.
oh wells, please think twice before considering this company.
p.s. i will not reply to any pm etc. i do noticed they have their marketing people trawling the forums. my only advice is - "Caveat emptor".
good day all.
