2014 brides!

Hi 2014 brides to be! How is ur wedding planning coming along? Have you settled your wedding and solemnization venue? Any venues to recommend? :)

My AD is in September 2014. Banquet, AD Photographer, videographer, bridal studio all booked. Now only left to get the rings.

Same as karoruluv, we are looking at wedding bands now. Eyeing on Bvlgari B.zero 1.

Venue: Copthorne Kings Hotel ($998 for 8 course meal based on 2013 pricing)
Bridal Studio: French Bridal
AD Photographer and Videographer: Perfect Edge Photography

So far all these will cost me about $32k.

I have yet to see Copthorne King. I am meeting them this weekend for a site visit. The price looks reasonable though but my wedding is in 2014. ;) have you gone for the food tasting? Is it good?

Hi, Perfect Edge is a Malaysia company. Actually he is my colleague's friend and I find their price reasonable.

I can pm you their video and their contact number.

I have not going for the food testing cos my AD is only in Sept 2014. But I went to try their food as a paying customer before signing up with them. I find the food is good and worth the money spend.

Hi Bernice,

I managed to lock in 2013 price for 2014 date because I confirmed with them before their official opening. So I managed to save a bit.
I really really love one eye click photography style, quirky and natural. And manage to confirm them with 15% off.

Actually I save quite a bit. Haha

Hi ladies, can I check with you all between a Friday dinner, Sunday lunch and Sunday dinner, which one will most guests prefer to go for?

Hi! I'm a 2014 bride to be! Looking for a good month.. am actually open to having it during the 'hungry ghost' month.. ;) not "ban tang" about it, parents are open too.. and maybe will have cheaper rate for banquet? :)
Am i the only weird one who thinks this way?

I think I will prefer Sunday lunch. Friday to go after work will be quite tiring. Plus your bridal party might have to take leave to help you on your WD.

Sunday dinner might have people leaving early because next day got school/ work.
