Bluebay Pre-wedding Shoot in Taiwan (24-Feb-14)

Our first encounter with Bluebay was at a colleague's wedding - we thought the wedding photos were pretty good. We then went for a wedding road show near Dhoby Ghaut MRT and decided to sign up for a package with Bluebay after the rest failed to impress us. We opted for the photoshoot in Taiwan since it did not incur additional cost. Subsequently, we went down to their studio at Delfi Orchard twice for pre-shoot discussion and thoroughly impressed with their friendliness and professionalism, especially Maggie and Elsa.

We arrived in Taipei on a Saturday, 21-Feb with an overcast weather. We went down to their studio near Shuangliang MRT and was greeted by their friendly staff. They carefully went through the photoshoot details with us and suggested various locations depending on the scenery we would like for our photos. We were then ushered to try out the gowns. Bluebay has a large collection of bridal gowns and they update their gowns every quarterly, bringing in new designs. Their staff Olivia was there all the while to assist my Fiancée in trying out the gowns. She helped to select gowns based on our input and gave her opinion whether they are suitable. We were both satisfied by the dresses we selected.

On the day of photoshoot, we reached their studio at 0800hr for preparation. Took about 1 hour for makeup and dress up. The makeup artiste, Jia Ning, was very meticulous and accommodating. She seemed to know which hairstyle suits my fiancée and all the "照行” was done up to our expectation. We were then greeted by the photographer Gucci (zhuang Sir) and his assistant Ah Wei, both very friendly. We first went Yangmingshan in search of Sakura. We were initially disappointed as the driver and Gucci said we might not find many due to the rain the previous week. However, we were pleasantly surprised when Gucci managed to find some locations with pretty nice Sakura. Ah Wei was always looking after us and guiding us on our posture and adjusting our dress/shirt to look nice on photo. We then proceed to a mini waterfall, Black Forrest, Ta-Tun Flower Garden (大屯花卉農場)(NT800 per team), beach to take sunset and finally a Chinese Temple called Bao An Gong for night shoot. The qi pao my Fiancée wore was absolutely gorgeous in the backlight of the temple. Taking photos can be tiring but the bluebay team kept encouraging us and cheering us on. They even treated us to Taiwan famous 金牛角at the end of the shoot.

Thanks to good weather and the resourcefulness and professionalism of the bluebay team, many of the photos turned out so pretty that we had a hard time selecting them. We finally settled on 52 photos after 6.5 hours of grueling selection process :) thanks to Bluebay in making this photoshoot a memorable one.

My HTB and i just had our photoshoot in Taipei with Bluebay last week. Both of us are very pleased with the entire process and outcome. Fortunately for us, Elsa handled us in Singapore and was also in Taiwan to follow up with us. Elsa was friendly and not pushy.

We bought the package for PS and AD at a Suntec Bridal fair. They were the first booth we visited and were bought over by their sincerity and how informative they were. They were very upfront about the additional costs and what to expect.

We are currently waiting for 27th March when we are to go online to view the edited photos. Till date, we have no complaints and there was really no hidden costs.

Hello everyone!

We just went to Taiwan on last week of Feb for our photoshoot. Our crew members are:
Photographer: Lego
Assistant: Xiao Li
MUA: Xiu Hui Jie

Before we go for our photoshoot we did some research on what are some of the poses that we want and showed it to Lego, he was very accommodating and able to help us achieve the poses that we want. Lego is also a no nonsense guy who has high expectations. A very resourceful photographer who know a lot of "SECRET" places for photoshoot :thumbsup: :)

As for the assistant Xiao Li, he was very patient and very helpful too! he's always there to help us carry our barang barang around and make sure we are in good positions for the shoot. So to all groom and brides to be, no worries if you are not confident in posing, they will be there to guide u all the way!

Xiu hui jie is one of the best make up artist i ever met! she's very caring and motherly, and best of all her skills are really good. All my family members said my eyes looked bigger yet still looking natural, which is v impt in my opinion.

Awesome memories we had through Blue bay!

BLUEBAY Wedding - Excellent Service

Me and my HTB bought this wedding package in 2012 at a wedding fair held at Dhoby Ghaut area.. We are very Impressed and feel glad to choose BLUEBAY WEDDING.

Firstly, they follow up closely with us after one year of signing the package. Initially our co-ordinator at Singapore is Ms Elsa however, later part, our co-ordinator changed to Ms Maggie as Ms Elsa was back to Taiwan headquarter. Both of them are super friendly and helpful and I have no doubt on their service.

We took our wedding shoot at Taipei.
During our actual day of our wedding shoot on 26 March 2014 (Wednesday), everything went smoothly. They even prepared breakfast and lunch for us.:thumbup:
Most important, our photos are all super nice that we can resist not to choose more... We end up buying an additional of 22 pieces Following are the details of our wedding shoot in-charge:
1) Taiwan Co-ordinator : Vic (She is sweet & friendly girl)
2) Wedding gown assistant: Xiao Wen (she is friendly girl)
3) Photographer : Shuang Sir (Gucci) (A Very Professional Photographer and put in effort and patience while shooting)
4) Asst.Photographer: Ah Wei (He is very observant, helpful and during the shooting he keeps cracking jokes to make us feel relax so that we will not tense up)
5) Make-up artist: Kennie (She is very good in styling and I am very satisfied with her make-up. She indeed a cute,helpful and pretty girl. )
Of course, full day shooting was tiring but we really enjoy a lot. No complaint but compliment to all the above mentioned guys:D

Other than that, as customer we really wish to sign up a wedding package without any hidden cost at later part of the shooting. And for BlueBay, all additional cost are clearly mentioned and stated when you signed up for the package therefore do not worry that later part will incur additional charges.

Once again, if you are looking for a wedding bridal studio, you may consider BLUEBAY.:thumbsup:

Hi! I just signed up with Bluebay for their pre-wedding photoshoot package with actual day gown included. I think I might have been a bit hasty in signing up with them. Just wondering whether anyone has used them for photoshoots in Singapore and what their selection of gowns is like and how flexible they are in meeting requests.

Yup, agree that Bluebay offers great customer service. When I visited BlueBay SG to enquire about their Taiwan packages, the coordinator, Maggie, was very patient with us. No hard-sell tactics as well. In fact, she emphasize that when selecting bridal packages, what couples should look out for is the photography style.

I managed to get a good price and some freebies thrown in. You may quote my referral code and ask to match my package (that's what I did, no need to nego much at all). Hello all BTB, just had our bridal shots with Blue Bay this year Jan (01/23) in Singapore. Most of the couple went to Taiwan for the photo shoot, but seriously Singapore is also another good place for pre-wedding shoot as well. :p

Must really compliment Blue Bay for their service and excellent photography skills. The staffs in Singapore (Olivia & Maggie) are patient and very customer-oriented. Especially Olivia, she is really friendly and helpful in every of our requests. They have a variety of gowns to choose from, and the staff will walk you through their suit of gowns giving their insights.

The photography team from Taiwan is very friendly and hospitable too. Pictures taken are clear and sharp with nice scenery, they will also help to edit where possible. Thumbs up for Blue Bay :) Let me know if you want to know more details about their services.

We had our pre-wedding photo taken in Japan 2 months back. Signed up Bluebay this year. Initially was enquiring on the AD package but got carried away with the reasonable price they offered for this Sakura PS.

The other reason we signed up is we had an wonderful experience and their excellent hospitality previously at Taiwan for our first PS last year make me wanted to sign up again with Bluebay for this Japan pre-wedding PS. I know that we will be good hand on the second coordination with them despite no sample photo for this route as it's their first PS.

We liaised with Maggie and Olivia, they are very chatty and patient during the gown. At the same time, we liaised with kiwi's assistant on the itinerary, transport and etc.

AD of PS, we wake up super early to have our makeup done by baby in the hotel room. Her makeup skill and styling are very experience as she knew exactly the style I'm looking for and had the right hair accessories which I received much praises (kirei) from the local.

As during the Sakura season, there's lots of passer-by viewing Sakura. Baby and Lao Da that are also the lighting tech help us to "chase" those passer-by ensuring our photo has little passer-by in the background as possible.

Since it's the second coordination with kiwi, without much say he knew the best angles for us and managed to capture very unique object like the moving train and 神鹿 with us in the pictures. He is a more creative PG and will always make us laugh by posting pre-action to be taken.

Had PS done with a breeze as they are very cheerful, chatty and funny that spice up the whole photography session. Needless to say the scenery at Japan was beautiful too.

The team (Lao Da, Baby and Kiwi) had rendered professional services and they are very passionate in their job by not mentioning tired as our PS last more than half a day. Awesome job done !! Thumbs up !!

To add on, due to the unexpected cold weather and I did not bring any thick jacket, Baby offered me her jacket after the PS. Where on the earth, I can find such a caring MUA baby ???

We went back to Sg Bluebay for the photo selection, the quality of the photos are really good and it turned out better than we expected and it was really too hard to choose ! Maggi , Olivia and Xiao Wen gave their comment on those photos which we are indecisive to forgo and most importantly, they are not pushy like some of the other bridal shops. Maggie is a great coordinator that will help to liaise with taiwan side on my requirement.


A big thank you to Lao Da for having the awesome staff (maggie, olivia, xiao wen, baby, kiwi, lily, youna, xiao e, kennie, yoyo and kate) that I had liaised with in my both PS .


No regret choosing them once again!! Highly recommend Bluebay for overseas PS be it in taiwan or overseas !!
