I went for a appointment during lunch time, learnt alot on diamondstheir explanations are really detailed... am more or less confirm on getting my diamond ring from them, but not enough time to see the different ring designs that they offered, will go back on another lunch break...
:laugh: I understand, they've got alot of ring settings to choose from, and it was a real headache for me too when I was choosing the setting.
Yeap, engagement ring would actually be the same as proposal ring.. :laugh:
I guess it's pretty subjective.. it depends on whether if you'd want to surprise her..
Hahaha it depends I guess, I just saw a new ring setting with side diamonds from their facebook and personally I liked it.
well the most important thing is ...do you know what you are paying for? There are tonnes and tonnes of different school of thought for diamond brilliance, Towlksy...GIA triple ex....AGS light map....H&A.....etc
You need to judge what your partner likes...Just remember, every single diamond can be same specs but exhibit very different characteristic...So its up to her to decide what she wants... my suggestion...dun go to commercial ones...you will be paying about 180% on top of its actual Recommended Retail Price.

Well alot of people tend to buy diamonds based on price alone and the 4Cs. But the fact is that diamonds are stones with unique characters...... meaning, each individual stone can sparkle very differently from another similar cut stone.
Example: Why does one person says their Brilliant Rose by Soo Kee diamond looks bigger or sparkle more favorably then the normal cut diamond?
Reason: Its the way the girl wants it to. Some ladies prefer strong burst of colours while others prefer more "bling" factor. So its also the guy's homework to knw what his partner wants. =)
So what I do is to guide my clients on their purchase and make sure that they know their purchase is worth their investment. BTW diamonds can be traded like Gold too...meaning its NOT a worthless piece of stone IF you know what you have bought.

I got this ring setting, concept would be the same as yours, clean and simple but I don't think my SO will like a tension setting, too adventurous for her ahaah
Just spent for the engagement ring and SO is already asking bout wedding bands, not forgetting hotel banquet and ETC.
now need to start scouting wedding bands... wedding banquet... wedding photoshoot... wedding honeymoon...
