Where to buy wedding shoes?

Womens are very capable to create a thousands of reason why they need that pair of new shoes, shawl, bag, dress & whatever that is being displayed on the shelf.

When you want to buy it, you tell yourself "It's useful! I'm gonna use it for this, for that, for future & bla bla bla...."

So, after you bought it, u used it for once and maybe twice. And that pair of poor shoes are being kept soooooo well on the rack and help you to collect dust. When the dust is about an inch thick, you tell yourself "nah! it's dirty already. and im not wearing it often. the heels are not in good condition (even tho it is still in perfect condition) & etc reasons... "

And the next thing is... you will try to convince yourself to find a new space for your pair of new shoes that you're going to buy soon.

Well... I'm just grumbling about myself. You guys could ignore me. Hahahas..

hahahaha.... letting off what you wanna say... i have lots of shoes in my cabinet and most of them are untouched. buy buy buy but wear once or didn't wear at all and when i moved house recently, i threw away about 15 pairs of shoes which some only wear once and got about 2 or 3 pairs which are still nicely kept in the box but i still throw it away! waste money! i refrain myself from going shopping unless i have things to buy if not i will not go out. if not i sure buy many things whenever i am out for shopping.

I got my shoes from Vincci @ Marina Square John Little. I think it costs around $60, has got crystals, and is very comfy! Totally value for money.

haha i think the most important thing is get a pair of shoes that look reasonably nice, comfortable, and can wear even after your wedding. I don't see a point in getting a pair of heels which you think you can only wear to your wedding, and thus need to take the extra effort to sell it off after that.

Long gowns do cover your heels, but they do peek out at times, especially if you lift up your gown when you walk. definitely can see a little. so cannot compromise too much (i mean don't get odd colors or too unglam heels lah).. further, photoshoot and on the acutual take usually people will take photo of the heels.

i feel the harbourfront heels are there for ages. haha... jurong pt branch always many people go and buy everytime i went there to see. both my pairs i bought from jurong pt. i QC very thoroughly when i buy the shoes to make sure everything swee swee. i think silver heels match most of the gowns and also kua so silver colour is the best.

oh serious? ok i will go down to JP to get mine. JP is so much nearer!

i'm just wondering how to maintain them.. i had previously purchased a pair of heels with some bling on it, and within 1 yr the glue becomes yellowish.. is not nice anymore! but it seems like even the shops have such heels, maybe it's not preventable. tt's the shelf life of bling bling heels i guess? :(

I went Sinderella at The Wedding Mansion yesterday. I love the design. Classic. But I dont know why the color of the shoes are like... erm... not totally white. It looks abit kinda "dirty-ish", sorta... "yellow-ish" on the white despite the lady show me the new pair.

Other than the color tone problem, the design that i wanted is 4 inch heel. And this is really too high for me. Also, the sizes available in their store didnt fit me well. So, the lady say i have no choice, because the stock is very limited. The only choice is to Make-To-Measure <That cost additional S$50! *Urgh!*>, which most of their customer do.

I didn't make any decision. I just walked away with my messy thoughts. Because i really dun feel comfortable of paying another S$50 for my shoes which already cost S$129 that is being displayed on the rack. I need to think properly loh. Over budget leh.

And then, i went Leapin Lizard for a quick look. The shop is rather messy. But they have hell lotsa design. But all Made-To-Measure. I simply pick one simple design, and ask "how much is this?". The sales attendant tells me "Oh! THis one, Made-To-Measure cost S$350".

My HTB open his mouth real big when he heard the price.

Haisss... Conclusion : I didn't get anything last night :(

Hi AnniesFaith

I got my "customized" shoes from Sinderalla and I like them very much. Due to my HTB is not very tall, hence I will need to customize the heels inorder to wear heels but still shorter than him.

I got Sinderella Bridal Shoes - Ashley (Silver) for $199 ($149 + $50) - Refer to Pics ^^

I asked Doris from Sinderalla about the colour for bridal shoes, so that it can match my gowns. She suggested silver will be better.

The shoes come with a ribbon and a normal buckled strap; ribbon for dinner/function and normal buckled strap for casual.

Though, it seems expensive but if comparing it with those that do not have desire heel height, design ... then I rather spent slightly more to customize them. Moreover, they are confortable, bling, fit my requirement, casual or format wear ... still its worth!

Hope this helps you in choosing bridal shoes ^^v

I got mine from anna nucci and the ribbon with bling can be tied around the ankles in 2 ways! One can be criss crossed over the front or just a simple band around the ankle. And it's mainly white satin ribbon and short band of bling so not too over if I want to continue wearing for other wedding events after my own! =P

Got mine at 313 somerset, the lady very helpful in teaching me how to tie the ribbon properly. $80+ and can replace the crystal if need to if in the future one piece missing from the many2.

hey pheeda, i think we have got the same heels! haha. mine are the shorter one tho.. i loved the higher heels, feels more "at home" in them, but i will be the same height as my htb, so we went back to change for a shorter one >.<. are you serious about the replacing of the crystals? so if they drop or turn black we can change them for free?!

i'm not sure if it is GSS or it's a "permanent sale". coz i went to anna nucci a few times over the past few months, and it's always such prices with discounts! never was it once that there was no discount...

ive seen many pretty wedding shoes at places such as robinsons, metro, OGm, isetan. You can also try other places such as bugis (second level, one of the small small shops) and even orchard wisma (cant remember the name).. But some of the places are pretty pricey, but i guess we pay for the quality and comfort.

keep the posts going, do share on your findings!

I bought 2 pairs of wedding shoes. Sighh!!!

I bought a white color heels with some lace design and blings. Got it from iStudio at Tangs. Spent S$99. Sigh! My HTB says this shoe is suitable for AD use.

1 month later after i bought my white heels, i bought a pair of Anna Nucci silver bling from JB City Square at RM239 (About S$103). It is unbelievable! JB dont have Anna Nucci shop one. But i passed by a shoes outlet with the name of Sweetie or something? Forgotten the shop name. I went in, and there's hell lotsa bling shoes! And i found a pair of Anna Nucci at one corner! And yes! That is the one and only pair of Anna Nucci displayed in the shop. Weird, but it is true! Hahahas... And the design is not available in Anna Nucci outlet in Singapore. So, my HTB kept telling me that i must buy it because he think that the white color heels is not suitable for PS at Taiwan.

In the end?

I wear slipper all the way during my entire PS process in Taiwan. Wasted.
