Pre-wedding photography in Korea

For those interested for a Korean pre-wed photoshoot, may want to consider Chungdam Studio.

My fiancee and I engaged the studio for the pre-wed shoot in October after recommendations from friends who had done their shoot with them as well. My initial concern was language barrier and also if it is really possible to get everything done in one day (inclusive of selection of gowns/suits). To our surprise, the whole process was seamless and totally enjoyable! Jamie is the designated English speaking coordinator, who is a cheerful and warm lady. Even though our photographers only speaks basic english, Jamie was able to patch the gap and language barrier with ease.

In fact we had just received the wedding album, which was provided to us promptly as promised :) It was a altogether wonderful experience for us.

You may wish to contact Jaime directly at flake7@naver.com or visit their website at www.thechungdamstudio.com for more details!

Hi, I would like to share my experience with the Chungdam studio in early December. We booked our pre-wedding photo session a couple of months back and went to Korea in December from Canada. Jamie was our translator and had been very helpful with the booking process and the day of the pictures. Makeup and dress selecting were all done perfectly in house. It was a cold day (0 degrees) but we went to Bokchon village to take pictures outside. Jamie and her helper took very very good care of me- in between shots, wrapped me with warm blanket to make sure I don't catch a cold, help me switch out of my flats so that I can walk on the steep slopes! And our photographer, Aiden, was very fun to work with and very nice as well! He got us fish cake soup to keep us warm! The photoshoot continued indoor after with all the amazing scenes in the studio, we were amazed! All scenes were very nice and dramatic! The same night after the pictures Jamie sent us pictures of us she took on the side for us. And shortly after we got to view all of our pictures from the session and they are very very pretty. It's a tough choice to pick for the best ones for the album!

I would highly recommend the Chungdam studio! You can directly connect to Jamie and she is very very helpful!

I am contemplating between a few studios. I like the photos I seen from Louvre Bridal. Chungdam studio is one of them that they recommended too. We are looking for our actual day bridal too, and thought it will be more convenient to settle everything under one roof.

Hi everyone,

We have just finished our photo shoot in Chungdam Studio. The experience was great and we could not be happier more. All of them, the translator (Jamie), photographer, makeup artist and the helper, put up a great job on that day. Jamie and the helper had made us laughed throughout the process as we are too cold to smile judging that the the outdoor shooting took place in a cold weather (-4 degree C). The makeup artist was great too and successfully transformed me into younger PSY and my wife into little princess even with very light makeup effort. Her makeup style was good and very natural. The photographer was professional, has his own expectation and still very patience with us even we are not used to Korean style of posing.

Overall, thumbs up to the team for the great experience that they have given to us. Recommended to anyone that is looking to have wedding photo shoot @ Korea style in Seoul.

If you are interested to know more about the package or information, please contact Jaime directly at flake7@naver.com or visit their website at www.thechungdamstudio.com.

We went to ChungDam Studio in Seoul in Early Nov 15. Didn't bother with agents as we don't like them having a cut of the profit. The location of the studio is relatively easy to find and Jamie will send you pictures and directions on how to get to the studio. The outdoor shoot was at the Seoul Olympic Park which was a good outdoor venue, not too crowded as well.

We were able to pick up any dress available and there wasn't any nonsense such as needing to topup more for a particular dress. Lunch was catered from a neighboring cafe/restaurant. All soft copies were returned to us and we were not pressured for additional addons

Overall, if you want no hidden cost (compared to some of my friends who went to Taiwan only to run into lots of extra, topup $$ for certain dresses, not having access to all soft copies), this is a good choice. I found Jamie on flake7@naver.com (www.thechungdamstudio.com)

Hi, Just a quick choice, We are going to marry in London, UK. September 2016. We have English and Chinese background. Happy to found our engagement and wedding photographer, videographer also make up hair artist in same package. We are now looking for our venue and will share it soon too.
Ask me if you would like to know any more details for our Europe wedding :)

Hi everyone,

I took a wedding photoshoot package with Chungdam studio. Jamie is the person in charge of this studio. She is a very friendly and nice person. She is also very efficient and promptly reply the email or WhatsApp.

I asked so many agents about the Korea photoshoot package but all are quite expensive except this Chungdam studio. I signed the package with Jamie without any agent involved. Without the agent fee, the package can be cheaper.

The photographer who helped us is very handsome and professional. He will instruct us how to pose and look at where. He can only speak very simple English but no worries that Jamie is a English translator. Jamie is always be there to help photographer translate to English.

The gowns are quite nice and I regret that I didn't pay to choose more nice gowns. In the package got 2 wedding gowns and 1 short dress. But I am willing to pay for more nice gowns and I regret that I didn't do so on the photoshoot day.

Overall, this Chungdam studio is quite a good choice for everyone to choose. If you are interested, you may email to flake7@naver.com or check the website www.thechungdamstudio.com

Hi everyone,

I'm searching for a pre wedding shoot now and wonder how is the payment done for taking korean studio? Shall i pay all at Singapore before depart to Korea? What is your agent practice?

Hope to get some response on this as i just liaise with some agents and they told me is normal practice to pay 100% before i depart to Korea. And i'm kinda worry on it since i dunno the agent and not much review on the company and studio.

Chungdam Studio Pre-wedding Photography :)

Engaged Chungdam Studio for our pre-wedding photography, it was definitely a great experience and the whole photo shooting experience went smoothly. :)

We confirmed on our package with Jamie (the coordinator) 1 year before our actual photo shoot and she constantly keep in touch with me on the updates of the studio. There was no problem communicating with her as she can speak english well.

We arrived at the studio around 10.30am on the actual day. Starting with make up session, the make up artist is really professional. The results was very good that many of my friends commented that I really look like a Korean.

After the make up and gown selections, we proceeded with the photoshoot. I was really impressed with the great teamwork that the team had. Even though Jamie could not be our translator for the day, the other translator was really good and during the indoor shooting, Jamie would also drop by to make sure that everything was ok.

Oh yes, we had a outdoor shoot and the weather was really very cold. The translator and the assistant took really good care of me making sure that I am kept warm. The translator even provided her own jacket for me. I am really thankful for that.

Overall, we really had a great time working with the studio. Many thanks to Jamie, our photographer (Aiden), our translator, make up artist and assistant (Sorry I cant remember your names). XIN KU LE ^^

If you could like to know more about their package, you may contact Jamie directly at flake7@naver.com and also visit their website at www.thechungdamstudio.com.

Can check out IDO wedding. Their photos are very nice. I wanted to go Korea and take photos too, in the end did not. However, I met up with the coordinator who is a korean but speaks English well. Their photo concepts are more to studio photography but they done up the studio very nicely. Costs quite expensive and it depends on the "studio" you choose according to the themes you want. i.e romantic, fun, classic, etc...

hi. can share details of package and the cost as well? thanks

Just had our pre-wedding photoshoot at Chungdam Studio last December. The whole process, from the choosing of gowns to the photoshoot to the selection of photos, went very smoothly. Although the outdoor shoot was very cold, Jamie and her team took great care of us and Jamie even lent me her gloves! *touched* Makeup was very natural (all thanks to Ms Ji In Tae) and photographer, Mr ChangMan Son, was very patient in teaching us how to pose. Credits also to Mrs Yeonsuk Park who helped with the changing of gowns and cracking jokes to help us smile naturally. It was indeed a wonderful experience. Thumbs up to Jamie and her team!

You may email Jamie at flake7@naver.com or visit their website www.thechungdamstudio.com for more details.

Hi,

I finished my photo shoot with Chungdam Studio in January 2016. It was overall a good experience and it was easy to work with the crew as they spoke either English or Chinese. Although it was freezing cold in Jan, but they are real quick to take the shoots outdoor. The photos turn out not bad too.

I would like to remind all brides who are thinking of going there to take their photos, please have in mind what kind of make up and hair style you want as the make up artist won't give any suggestions. Other than that, things are ok.

If you are interested to engage them, please contact Jamie at flake7@naver.com or visit www.chungdamstudio.com.

Am interested to have pre wed photos taken in Korea.. Anyone knows a rough cost? Also has anyone heard of the korean paparazzi shoot? Where they have the photographer follow you around and snap candid which I feel are more natural and capture real moments. Not sure how to start finding though!

Went to Chungdam studio recently to take wedding photoshoot. It was a great experience. I contacted the studio directly through Jamie (flake7@naver.com), who responded quickly to all our requests. It was very rush as we had just confirmed the package 1 week before the photoshoot but Jamie did a good job to make everything smooth. We arrived the studio earlier than the appointed time and the assistant greeted us warmly. The make-up artist was very gentle and the assistant took very good care of me. The photographer too was good in taking care of every little detail. We felt very comfortable working with them and we enjoyed the process very much. Thanks to the whole team who has made our day. I personally recommend this studio to those who want to have photoshoot in Korea www.thechungdamstudio.com
