My financé and I recently took our pre-wedding photo shoot at the Chungdam Studio in mid-April, and we both enjoyed the entire experience very much.
We decided to have our prewedding shots taking in Korea because we both like Korean style and for me, I particularly love the natural make-up and the hair-do. There are plenty of wedding studios in Korea, finally we picked the Chungdam Studio because we were attracted by one of their beautiful flowery backdrop.
After some research, we directly contacted Ms. Jamie Kim (the Studio Manager) instead of booking through the agencies. I think it would be less hassle in terms of liaising in two different lands and most importantly, it would cost much cheaper. Jamie was well versed in English and she was very accommodative and attentive to all our questions (even at late night, she answers your questions on whatsapp/email almost immediately)!
When it came to the actual shooting day, I have to say Jamie and her team really did an excellent job!
Jamie acted as the translator and she generally helped out with the phototaking. She even helped us to capture some behind the scene photos with her mobile phone and sent back to us at that night.
Our makeup artist (sorry I didn't get her name) was as great as expected! Her skills are really good and you will look like Korean in no time!
Mr. Yun was our photographer - and we have to thank him for his patience with us especially me who posed like a robot! Glad to have him to guide us exactly where to stand and how to pose.
Indeed, they both can speak Mandarin, so there were no worries about communication at all. They are very willing to work with couples to meet their needs.
Apart from Jamie, there was another assistant who was constantly helping us to adjust our outfit throughout the day. She was a really caring lady! During the outdoor shoot, she carried our stuff for us and as it was still a bit cold outside, whenever we were not shooting, she quickly rushed to cover me (only wearing a short dress) with a fleece blanket.
When we ended for the day, Jamie even introduced us to the special foods nearby as we told her that we would stay and travel in Seoul on the next few days.
In summary, it was a great experience at a reasonable price. I strongly recommend the Chungdam Studio to couples who are looking for a suitable wedding studio in Korea.
