Hi folks, I just want to share my review of Hello Muse (it's totally positive!).
I did a pre wedding photoshoot with them in Seoul in June 2016. We used Lumiere Studio, The Beaulah dress shop and Encloe salon. Any questions, please drop me a comment on the post and I will do my best to assist :)

Hey guys, I found this forum so helpful when I was searching for a studio for my prewedding shoot. Many of you have made suggestions and at the end of the day I selected The chungdam studio as my final choice. Jamie was the point of contact and she was very responsive. We flew all the way from Canada to have that photoshoot and my fiance is someone that is very picky in his selection and he also had a fun experience with Chungdam studio. The crew was so professional and attentive that we felt like prince and princess for that day!! Lol we definitely made a great decision and strongly recommend Chungdam studio to you all. You can email Jamie at flake7@nate.com.

Thumbs up for Chungdam Studio!

Hello all,

I am here to share my great experience at Chungdum Studio in Seoul after coming back to Singapore in Sep 16 as it was all the positive reviews that I had seen in this forum here that made me consider them in the very first place. Thanks all who posted ur experience here earlier! :)

We liaise with Jamie via whatsapp prior to the photoshoot who was really prompt in her replies. The whole liaising process was fuss free and responsive! We chose the indoor and outdoor packages. Jamie provided about 3 to 4 outdoor locations for us to choose from for the outdoor shoot. In the end, we chose Olympic Park as we feel that the place will be more attune to our outdoor personalities.

Jamie and her team (photographer, Aidan, photographer assistant, makeup artist with close to 10 yrs of exp and an ajuma who help with wearing of gowns/suits and making sure we look good in front of the camera) are very professional, warm and fun-loving people. The photographer and the assistant guide us on how to pose and gave advice on how we will look more natural. The ahjuma sometimes cracked jokes to make the whole experience so much more fun! Jamie was really nice to help us take snippets of photos and videos of the behind scenes. She even helped to get us our lunch (it was really good food!) and was with us throughout coordinating and translating for us. Their level of service is really amazing.

The whole process was so much fun, even though it was quite tiring given the close to 12 hours of photoshoot (it was estimated to be 8 hours but photographer extended it to ensure that we got a nice shoot at the rooftop in the evening when the sun was setting). Speaking of professionalism at its best!

Even after the photoshoot, Jamie even recommended some food eating places and place of interests for the rest of our trip in Seoul.

We were able to choose the photos the second afternoon and the photos turn our really nice with the great angles and lighting even without processing/photoshopping yet.

I would like to thank them for everything that they have done for us! Cant wait to receive the final photographs in the album!

If any of you are interested, do not hesistate to email Jamie at flake7@nate.com or check out their website www.thechungdamstudio.com!

Just want to write about my experience with Chungdam Studio. We took our post wedding pictures at end of July and just got our photo book, two cd with over 400 pictures, and large frame now. The whole process took just 2 months. We are very happy with the quality of the book and large pictures.

Jamie was very responsive and answer all my questions. She was there for us during the photo session and help translate for us. We want to say thank you to Jamie and her team for all their hard work. They really took care of us and make us feel important and comfortable during our Photoshoot. Overall, we are happy that we selected with Chungdam Studio and we will recommend anyone to seek them out for the wedding photo.

Do not hesitate to email Jamie @ flake7@nate.com or website www.thechungdamstudio.com

Korea Pre-Wedding Shoot with Ztage Wedding

We signed up a LITE photo package (Seoul) with Ztage at BOWs 2016 event and the staff are very friendly and warm in sharing their information with us. Emily first helped us to our questions and allowed us some time to think through. Doris then followed up with us, trying her best to assist us. They were both patient in answering our queries and even offered useful suggestions on how we can proceed with our wedding photos or if we are also keen in outdoor shoots. We decided to go ahead with this package instead of others since they are certified and well-known in the market, and they also try to cater to our needs and budget. (so thankful) Although we are worried that the few hours of photo-shoot might be too little, we hope that we could be able to cover quite a decent amount of different shots that we like!

Vera Ann is also very prompt and helpful in replying our messages through email as they will keep us updated with the information prior to our travel. I feel at ease liaising with them and I'm glad they are patient with us despite our hectic work schedule.

We truly look forward to a happy and great photo-shoot in December and I will update again after our trip to Seoul for the photo-taking. Thank you Ztage, once again!

Hello there!

I'm most likely going to sign my pre wedding and actual day shoot with Mr K Wedding!

I'm speaking to Erin at the moment :)

Would you be able to share how you coordinated with them with regards to the gown selection etc?
Did you need to alter your selected gowns and how much was your package/ which studio etc?

Sorry for the many questions! Haha I'm preparing for my 2017 wedding so still quite clueless about everything.

Many thanks in advance!! :)

Ok, I'm back from my photoshoot and here's my post-photoshoot review.

Their service was impeccable, the whole experience was so wonderful and I feel that the price I paid was so worth it! They really took such great care of us and I feel so pampered the whole time there...now I feel like doing another photoshoot keke.

These are the samples of the studio that I chose: Show Studio! They specialise in simple and natural style.
2016 sample: http://mrkwedding.com/cn/bbs/board.php?bo_table=package&wr_id=101&me_code=3010&sca=SEOUL
2015 sample: http://www.mrkwedding.com/en/bbs/board.php?bo_table=package&wr_id=60&me_code=3010&sca=SEOUL

I got all the original high-res photos within one week of shooting and I was really shocked because at first glance I thought they were edited photos...and I was thinking...how can they be so fast?! Then I saw the sheer number (632 photos) and realised they are indeed raw, unedited photos. If you want to know what I mean, see the original unedited photos of one of their clients here. Really look like touched up already right??

So I just sent over the 20 selected photos yesterday for them to photoshop to be put into the album...tough choice to choose only 20...we took an entire weekend. lol ^^

We had mostly indoor shots, also had outdoor shots (cafes, etc) near the studio and by the Hangang. Also had night shots on the rooftop. They set up fairy lights and made the scene really romantic! 73 different scenes in total (I know, because that's how I shortlisted my photos ^^)! The Hangang and night scenes were given to us free of charge too...that came as a really nice surprise!

I think I struck up a reallyyy good friendship with Mr K Wedding because they created a new promotion for Singapore brides that I refer to them from now on...they will provide an additional printed 20p album (unedited, standard 4R size) free with my referral, on top of whatever package you choose. So meaning you get two albums instead of one, and you can choose 40 photos instead of only 20! Do take a look at their website and PM me if you are interested in any of the studios they have ^^

We just got our prewedding photoshoot done with Chungdam Studio early of the week and the whole experience was wonderful. We came to know this studio from wedding forums as many good reviews were written on them. The whole process was professionally done, from the make-up artist to the dress assistant and photographer. Jamie, the English co-ordinator is a friendly lady and prompt in responding to all queries on emails or Whatsapp. Their package is very comprehensive, no hidden charges and transparent on the additional options or costs. Our experience here is unforgettable.

You may review their portfolio at www.thechungdamstudio.com or contact Jamie via her email at flake7@naver.com if anyone is thinking of doing a prewedding shoot in Korea.

We did our pre-wedding photography with The Chungdam Studio. Initially we were apprehensive because there wasn't an agency in Singapore to be the liaison.. I am glad we took the brave move. Overall experience was great. The translator (Jamie) was friendly.. communication with her was barrier-free as she is able to converse in English. Replies were prompt as well as we WhatsApped each other. The actual day experience was good, I think I got a good photographer (Ayden) who was able to converse in English, does not force me to do poses which I was uncomfortable in, guided us well. The MUA was able to speak in conversational Mandarin, and she ensured that she understood what I want in terms of make-up and hair styles before giving her inputs.

An assistant (Ahjumma) accompanied me throughout the whole shoot, helping me to change into different gowns, touch up for me, and etc.

The gown selection wasn't alot, i chose mainly from an album within 15 minutes... but surprisingly when I wore the gowns, they looked very elegant and pretty. :)

I highly recommend The Chungdam Studio because:

1) The package is affordable (as compared to Singapore's) - we paid about $3k with all 500 soft copies in, 36 edited photos in a 36 page album, and a portrait frame=up given as well... courier fees included. 2 white gowns, 1 evening gown and 1 mini dress. :) 2 different make up styles

2) trustable with a good team of translator, MUA and photographer.

can email to the studio to get more info about it. :)

Hi,

I had just done my pre-wedding shoot with chungdam on 27-Oct-16. Today, 31-Oct-16 I had received all the raw photos via emails. It was so impressed, and I feel the efficiency of their work, the taken photos are really nice. Thumb up to them. :)

The photographer is so friendly, guiding us patiently how to post our postures. Jamie was the one who accompanied us and be our translator at all times. She took our photos by her own smart phone and recorded a short video during shooting period and sent to us.

Their dressers are also helpful although they don’t know how to speak English but they are excellent in assisting you in dressing, ensuring your gowns and suits are in order prior to photo taking.

We have a custom package, which is slightly cheaper than what they provided. The package we had is a simplify one, and it suppose to end early but we spent extra two hours due to their kindness for taking more photos. We are happy for it.

For those who are interested pre-wedding shoot in Korea, Chungdam is one of the best options. You guys can contact Jamie via flake7@naver.com, or visit their website at www.thechungdamstudio.com or PM me for more information.

Regards,
Chia & Janice

Just had our pre-wedding photo shoot done at The Chugndam Studio in Seoul in Mid-October.

We were concerned about attire and make up for the shoot so we booked a trial session two days before our shoot. A time was set and we were immediately greeted by Jaime upon our arrival at the studio. We were able to try on multiple outfits and picked the ones we liked the most. As for the make up, it was done professionally according to my personal preference. The entire process took 2.5 hours.

We returned for our shoot two days later and the outfits were already in our dressing room. We started at the studio, had lunch, outdoor shoot at Seoul Forest and returned to the studio for the evening shoot. 3 members (including Jaime) were with us throughout the day and treated us with great respect. We started at 10 am and finished the photo shoot around 8 pm.

A week after the shoot, 600+ raw pictures were sent to us through email for us to pick.

Overall, a wonderful experience and phenomenal customer service by Jaime, Aiden our photographer and the entire staff team at the studio.

Please contact Jamie via flake7@naver.com, or visit their website at www.thechungdamstudio.com if you want a memorable photo shoot.

I just finished my pre-wedding photo shooting in Korea and would like to share my experience to you all.
(Which I'm still very excited about it)

Actually, me and my bf didn't planned our big day yet, but we agreed that the most important thing is to taking pre-wedding photos!
Except Korea, I've also decided whether Japan or HK a good place for that.
After some researches, I decided to take my pre-wedding in Korea.
I thought it's affordable and convenient, and most importantly, my friends took beautiful pre-wedding photos in Korea! =]

Ok, go back to the track, I screened some studio and agencies on internet, contact them via email, whatsapp...blablabla
and I chose Chungdam Studio finally.
Many people deal with it through agencies but I contacted the studio directly.
No worry, there is a co-ordinator called Ms. Jamie Kim, who is a nice lady who could speak fluent English
(she communicated with me before we take photos in Korea and accompanied me during the photo taking process)
At first, I'm a bit worry because I've never heard of this studio before,
as I've to pay a quarter of the whole amount as deposit months before.
What if they are cheating or the quality of final products are not good?

However, when I searched "CHUNGDAM STUIDO" on facebook,
many brides/grooms share their beautiful photos (which is not demo from the studio itself)
So.......I'm on it!

Me and my bf do not used to smile naturally in front of the camera,
but Jamie, the cameraman (Aiden) and the assistant are very nice and take care of us in the whole photo taking process.
We are very appreciate about that!
Now, I'm selecting the photos for the print-out album, and I cannot deny the photos are very beautiful!

For your reference, I've attached some original photos in this post ^^" (Don't be scary, Halloween is over!)
If you are interest, I recommend you to contact Ms Jamie directly to know more about their packages,
her email address is flake7@naver.com
or you may browse their website www.the chungdamstudio.com to have a glance on their packages
You may add her facebook as well, she will post some "real photos" of her customers on facebook.

I had my pre-wedding taken at TheChungdamStudio, Seoul South Korea.

Contact person would be Ms Jamie, a very wonderful person to work with. She is extremely friendly, helpful and warm towards the whole process. Choosing gowns and attire couldn't be any easier, no extra charges needed for those elegant dresses provided by them. The hardest part would be choosing from all those heavenly gorgeous dresses.

Our photographer, Mr. Yoon is also very helpful in guiding us on how to smile and do different poses. Language is not a problem at all because they can speak English & Mandarin very well. I would like to thank the lady who helped to dress, carrying my oversized gown, cover me with a jacket when I felt cold during the outdoor photoshoot. We felt so touched by the extremely warm service provided. Makeup & hairdo was done perfectly according to what we've expected and there is the presence of the true korean look. Overall, even though it's a tiring process, the wonderful crew at Chungdam Studio made the whole thing looked perfectly sweet & comfortable. There is nothing else that we can ask.

Thanks again for providing a first class service. With one of the biggest days of our lives and such a huge action packed event, we feared that we would not be able to stop and take it all in and the day would soon fade from our memories. However, you've truly captured the essence of our day providing us with so many wonderful experiences.

You could reach Jamie at flake7@naver.com and the website is www.thechungdamstudio.com.

My fiancé and I have just finished our pre wedding photoshoot with The Chungdam Studio in Seoul, South Korea. It is a one stop service with their selection of indoor / outdoor packages, gowns and tuxedo ( include traditional hanbok), makeup artist, hair stylist, photographer and a personal assistant.
We chose this studio after reading multiple great reviews and positive comments online.
It was such a memorable experience working with the professionals. Getting to their studio was just a 10 minutes walk from a subway station. We were greeted by Ms Jamie Kim who speaks in fluent English. The package was explained to us in details and our enquires were answered promptly.
We had no problem communicating with their friendly staffs as many of them are quite well verse in English / Chinese.
I absolutely love their dresses and indoor themes. We also opted for additional outdoor photo shoot in a park (transportation included) for an autumn theme.
Although the package was packed into a single day, it was planned efficiently without any issue. I will recommend them to anyone who is planning an oversea pre wedding photoshoot.
Please contact Ms Jamie Kim for further details at flake7@naver.com

My fiancé and I just came back from South Korea where we had our pre-wedding photoshoot done with The Chungdam Studio! I first learnt about this studio from this thread and booked their services one year in advance as we wanted to catch the autumn scenery. Jamie the coordinator was always quick and prompt in her replies to us and that gave us a lot of confidence in the studio.
Initially, we were worried whether we could fit in the fittings and shoot in one day but we managed to with no issues! The gowns were gorgeous and Jamie, the ahjumma helping us and photographer Kim were really professional and excellent in what they did and helped us to smile a lot during the shoot.
The indoor sets were really beautiful and the outdoor portion of the shoot was so enjoyable as well!

We received the 500+ photos 5 days after the shoot and were pleasantly surprised by the photos as they looked amazing!
It was such a wonderful experience with no hiccups at all throughout the day!
Highly recommend this studio for anyone looking for a korean studio to take their pre-wed photos at!
You can contact Ms Jamie Kim for details at flake7@naver.com
There are also samples of their works of real life couples on their website http://www.thechungdamstudio.com

Hello,

We just came back from our photoshoot with chungdam studio. Booked with them one year ago because i liked the studio background and autumn leaves photos. It was so cold and sadly there are not much autumn leaves the time we went. We made bank transfer to confirm our booking. Our photographer was korean and also the ahjuma who helped me alot with my gown, hair accessories and also my bf's suit. There was a translator to help us as well. reached the studio at 9am to do make up and hairdo until about 11am and went for our outdoor shoot. Came back at around 2pm plus and shoot all the way till 7pm. If you are not too picky, you will be able to finish choosing your gown on the same day.

Jamie is the coordinator for all overseas booking so she was the one who made all the arrangements for us. You can email her at flake7@naver.com as she speaks english. Their website is www.thechungdamstudio.com
