oh it's good to hear that the overall review of regent is good. considering to hold my banquet there so that makes it quite assuring. :)

Ladies...I have shortlisted Regent Hotel but kind of worry about the themes..can anyone forward your package and photos of the ballroom with theme for my reference?...thanks in advance...

hi imlynn, the themes at regent hotel differs depending on the room you book as well as the year. because room structures and sizes differ, they have customized themes for each room which is not always transferrable from one to the other. Also, in order to keep the items new and pretty, themes tend not to last too long, for only 1-2 years. so it depends on when you're booking regent, and what they have at that time. In general, regent hotel has one of the best themes and most well decorated ballrooms in singapore.

I'm shortlisting Regent for my wedding banquet next year but I'm concern about the food quality and the accessbility of the location for my guests.

hi Karen,

I heard the food is good. But the place is not really accessible. It location behind Tanglin mall and a distance away from mrt, no shuttle service provided. However it still near few bus stop. So, it will quite ok for ppl who taking bus but not for mrt commuter :)

Are the food portion big as well? I heard that the food portion is small for the 8-course menu =_=|||

@karen: Not sure abt the portion, i also nv has any experience with the regent fd, only now through the forum.. (sorry, cannot help =_=) Anyone there has experienced with regent fd? :)

Anyone being worked together with Natalie as regent coordinator? Is she flexible and friendly?

Hi guys, I went there for viewing earlier in Dec. The lobby is nice n grand.. smells good too! The Tanglin Room is alittle narrow I felt as it is actually made up from function rooms. However, you could still manage a fairly long march-in I suppose. Larrina is the one that coordinates with me. I find her service delivery pleasant & friendly. She even follows up with us on our thoughts. Pity that I have only 25 tables. Too many for Tanglin Room but too little for their grand ballroom on weekends.. :)
